“The location is perfect—close to the main station and surrounded by student areas with plenty of affordable food options, which I found even better than Xinyi (since Xinyi has a different vibe). The room is small but just right for two, cleverly arranged with the bedroom and bathroom separated by a curtain, making it feel cosy. The bed is very comfortable, and I appreciated the desk and drawers. The air conditioning works well, and despite facing a busy road, the window insulation keeps it quiet. I especially liked the Taiwanese coffee provided in the room, made from real beans instead of instant mix. I would definitely stay here again!”
“The owner and family were very warm and welcoming . The breakfast served was simple but it could feel been prepared with love .
The rooms were spacious and comfortable. The view from the windows is lovely . We had a peek at the 101Taipei night view . It was marvellous”
“Love everything about the hotel! It’s Muslim friendly and you may asked them about Muslim friendly room (bidet) & Muslim friendly breakfast. I had shrimp fried rice & beef noodles! Soo happy! Room was good and they gave out free slippers for you to keep. In the middle of Ximending area and its above Eslite Spectrum mall. If you see MAC , then you are close to the hotel. Lobby is at level 5 and laundry is free!”
“I’m a solo female traveller on a short trip, and this is my second time staying at Star Hostel. It’s truly the best hostel I’ve experienced in Taipei so far. The location is very convenient, just a short walk (3minutes) to the MRT station. The exterior of the building look small, however, the rooms, washrooms, and common hall feel spacious and relaxing. All the amenities are well thought out and well equipped, and the system they instilled to maintain the cleanliness are what I appreciate most. It always feels safe, welcoming, and like a home away from home.”
