Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Can be a little noisy especially when it rains
Very convenient location within a min’s walk to the night market. Easy access to the metro red line. Clean, spacious and well-maintained apartment and equipped with all the necessary facilities. Very good for families!

All good.
Beautiful property that’s in the center of the city. Very convenient. Walking distance to to a fun night market with fun shopping and snack foods. Lots of cute breakfast places around too. Alex the host was super communicative and easy to work with. Even delivered extra linen at 10pm at night when I asked about the location of extra sheets. Washer Dryer dish washer microwave, everything you need for a comfortable trip with friends or family.

- Perhaps more pillows could be provided as the ones provided were quite flat (not so great for side sleepers) - Be mindful that there are just a couple of steps leading up to the building's lift
- Host took great effort to meet their guests upon arrival to explain the check-in and in-apartment facilities. - Apartment was really clean and well-equipped with 2-in-1 washing machine and dryer, and water filtration system in the kitchen. - Ample trash bags were provided for us to take out of our trash and keep the house nice smelling and clean :D - 2 of the bathrooms were equipped with bidet. - Lots of breakfast options around the area. - 6-8minutes' walk to the nearest Xinyi Anhe subway station. - TVs were subscribed to multiple streaming platforms; Good for killing time after dinner and when waiting for all travelling parties to get prepared to head out

There is a step outside the bathroom -- it would be wonderful if there's a sign (in yellow for example) reminding people to 'mind the step' or something. It would be great if table lamps are provided.

The flat is on 2nd floor, the noise from the street is unavoidable.
The flat is well designed with latest features, and it is all to suit travellers need, Alex ( the owner) very friendly and helpful, beds are very comfortable and the location of this flat is super, you have street night market within, and all different restaurants , massage places, supermarkets all on your doorstep. Very comfortable place to stay for family especially.

We had a fantastic stay at this wonderful apartment in Taipei. The place is beautifully maintained, clean, and cozy, making it feel like a true home away from home. The thoughtful touches in the decor and amenities made our stay incredibly comfortable. The location is perfect, with easy access to public transportation, local attractions, and great dining spots. Our host, Alex was incredibly friendly and accommodating, ensuring that we had everything we needed throughout our stay. We truly appreciated the warm hospitality and the effort put into making this space so welcoming. We would highly recommend this apartment to anyone visiting Taipei and look forward to staying here again in the future!

Host was very hospitable and attentive. Saw my eldest trying to connect his Nintendo switch to the TV to no avail and offered to source for an adaptor/cable for him to do so. And he did! Dropping by the next day to drop it off to the delight of the eldest. We stayed for 5 nights as a family of 8 with 2 elders, 3 young children. It was a very comfortable stay and Alex's apartment was very well equipped. Toiletries, cleaning agents, high chairs, lift to the apartment, smart TVs in all the rooms, it kept the kids and elders entertained during our stay. Apartment was very clean and conveniently located. Thanks Alex for the hospitality!

The owner was very thoughtful and made sure we were not short of anything during our long stay. It’d be even better if there were some hand towels. But we just used our bath towels and were okay with it.

Would be nicer if there’re face towels and hooks to hang clothes in the bathrooms. Also just for us, would be perfect if there’s food wrap.
Very convenient location and near the night market. The whole apartment was clean with sufficient amenities, and there’re 3 washrooms/ shower rooms perfectly for group travelers. We really appreciated the hot/cold water purifier/dispenser that we didn’t need to buy drinking water at all. The owner was very friendly and we really felt his hospitality.

The apartment is very comfortable and clean. The location is really convenient and there is a night market just behind the apartment. The host is very friendly as well, he made sure that our stay was as comfortable as possible.
