Quiet location, but only 15 mins taxi to airport/ night market. A convenience store and some restaurants nearby, or take 3 mins taxi to Gloria Outlets where can get everything. A small lake and greenery in front of the hotel, very relaxing. Staff is very helpful.

A hotel with the traveller in mind. Excellent location, Excellent Service, Excellent cleanliness & attention to detail. A beautiful park across the road to relax, unwind, exercise and admire the view from your hotel room. We booked an extra large room with a bath with a lake view on the 6th / top floor. A lovely boutique hotel with an added benefit of a dining room with complimentary hot & cold water, sparkling water, beer, softdrinks, iced tea & vending self serve machines. Also a few snacks, dinnerware & tableware & cutlery are also provided . Very quiet but close to MRT A17 but A18 is not far and is the main station MRT & high speed rail. Also near the public bus stop. Around the corner is an excellent 7-11 with a cafe and other restaurants . Gloria Outlet centre is an easy 7-8 minute walk and has an adjoining shopping mall and XPark Aquarium. It has heaps of shopping and restaurants and food courts and street vending trucks. The A18 rail is across the road with a link way bridge and on the other side is IKEA with an excellent restaurant serving a great variety of meals suitable also for us westerners and locals alike at reasonable costs.A word of warning about transport- have cash organised for transport from the airport, terminal 1 (A12) does not accept Apple Pay and cards as of yet and have not been fully intergrated but can be used at A18 on the one way trip to the airport but not from the airport. Taxis are expensive….

Truly it was great with nothing to really complain about. The only tiny thing I noted was the coffee machine had horrible coffee.

Clean, quiet, nice sheets, terrific location as it is very close to the airport and the restaurants nearby are wonderful. We are really glad we picked Alfar.

Hotel is superb.. but the taxi driver's attitude from airport to hotel was rude. Probably it's due to the short distance from Airport to Hotel, and fare was ard TWD 350-380. I experience same situation twice in a week. Perhaps the Airport authorities or taxi association shld be alerted regarding this, as not all passengers goes to city due to short layover.

This is a nice and fairly convenient place to stay to catch either the high-speed rail or the main airport. They have a nice lounge which was serving free beer which I'm sure was sponsored by the beer maker, a new one for me in Taiwan, and free soft drinks And coffee and snacks which was very unusual but a very welcome welcoming.

It's not actually near the heart of the cultural parts of Taiwan . Some of the staff could not only learn some English but learn to use a translator app. There was only one lady that was helpful and she was very good the rest seemed like they would rather be doing something else .

I wish we’d known it is 8 min walk to very large Outlet Mall as would have arrived earlier to do some shopping.

Modern, large room with lake view. Access to free soft drink, beer and sparkling water. Great location for early flight. Only 15 mins in an Uber for US$10 to get to airport at 7am. Short walk from airport line A17. From Taipei costs NT160. From/to airport only NT25.

The room was nice and fulfilled our purpose which is to be near the airport. Added bonus it’s near the train station and a mall so we just walked there for food.

We found the perfect hotel, this will be our go to when we need to travel to the airport, in fact we have reserved again for our next trip. The hotel is very clean, rooms are adequate with comfy bed, bathroom decor contemporary and the best thing is opening the curtains in the morning and the stunning lake view. Perfect. Hotel only 8 min walk from from MRT train station and 10 min walk to Gloria outlets.

Highly recommend the hotel for those prefer quite and less crowded places. The environment of hotel was good and the surrounding restaurant was delicious. Walk around 5-10min to train station and also outlet.
