Ellie really makes sure you feel at home during your stay. At arrival she shares all her knowledge about the island with you as a guest. Her hospitality and kindness make you feel welcome from the first moment you enter her nicely decorated B&B. Breakfast is made with consideration of what you eat and like. The room that I stayed in was fully decorated with owls from shower curtain to pillows. A fabulous place to stay right in the center of town.

Everything was perfect

Lovely owners. Always there when we asked for help. Delicious breakfast and milk tea. The breakfast is homemade by Ellie's husband's mother which is really sweet. Excellent location, close to everything we needed! The house is in a busy part of the city so it is very easy to get food and drinks. Ellie gave us a lot of great recommendations and we ate a lot of good food thanks to her! Her husband also drove our luggage to the bike rental spot after we checked out! The room was very nice and clean and had everything we needed. It was also super cute with nice decorations. The beds were very comfortable too and the mattresses were soft. .

Very friendly owner and very helpful with booking things to do and places to go around island. Not to far of a walk from the ferry and nestled around a lot of shops - but very peaceful and quiet inside.

Excellent location and room for our stay on Xiaoliuqiu. Ellie the host spoke good English and really went out of her way to make sure everything was catered for during our stay, including arranging a snorkelling trip and hiring electric bicycles. She also arranged for us to have vegetarian bao buns for breakfast and gave us a free photo postcard, which was a lovely touch. The booking was also great value for money - fully recommend staying here.

Great host. Convenient location.

Perfect room at a perfect location managed by a perfect owner. We wished we knew that it would be this nice in advance, because when we arrived we wanted to stay longer. The room was clean and comfortable and the host was as helpful as one can get. Definitely staying here again when I will come back to Xiaoliuqiu.

Extremely friendly host, helped to organise everything from scooter to snorkeling equipment. Many recommendations from her on which beach to go to at a given day based on the situation such as wind, waves etc. Super cute breakfast with turtle buns. Interior nicely decorated with a lot of attention to detail. Location also perfect as it is close to the main ferry terminal and close to the main shops.

Elli was very nice and helpful! We had a wonderful stay :) the house and room was very clean and we really liked the little details in the room which made it very cosy! Good location next to tasty Restaurants and to the ferry!

Ellie is a great host. Lots of info before and during the stay. Sorted out e-motorbike hire with local operator and accompanied to pick which was useful as they didn’t speak any English. Ellie’s English is good. Island is small enough to go round in about 10 mins with lots of places to stop off and explore (bikes a bit scary but useful!). Beauty beach is probably the best place for turtle spotting. We saw loads there but unfortunately typhoon Kong-Rey was on its way and the sea was too rough to swim with them. Also meant that we could only stay 1 night as the ferries were shutting down so we had to get off the island which was shame. Room spacious and comfortable with A/C and fan. Drinking water available downstairs. Location in Baishawei is handy for shops, restaurants & bike hire, and short walk from ferry.

Minor stuff. Breakfast was ok (savoury and sweet buns) but not really to my taste. It’s left in a bag on the table downstairs (Ellie + husband don’t stay in the same building). Coffee in flask but didn’t try - no milk. Shower was powerful but a bit in your face so hard to use. Room on 3rd floor. Lots of in/out shoe swapping.

The location was super. It was clean. Many great tips and tricks to discover the island. Super friendly host and a super breakfast! In addition a lovely personalised gift, which I will not spoil 😊

For me not an issue but please note there is no elevator. It's probably mentioned in the description but if you are unable to do stairs it will be difficult.

Breakfast was delicious and varied, a great start to our day! The hotel's location was incredibly convenient: •⁠ ⁠5-minute walk to Ferry Terminal •⁠ ⁠Surrounded by restaurants, cafes, and local eateries •⁠ ⁠Family Mart and 7-Eleven nearby for added convenience

Nothing special

The house is quite close to the dock as well as the bustle of the streets (shops, restaurants, rentals...), although one can hardly hear or see it in the room so it does not disturb one's sleep at all. The house is very clean and the host is very kind, she helped us organise (even before our arrival) our bicycle rentals and would help with more if we wanted that, she also made sure to provide us with recommendations as to where and when to go to see turtles and where to go for food. The breakfast was amazing, including baked stuffed buns as well as fruits and tea, there was also potable hot (for tea/coffee) and cold water available all the time.

Ellie is a wonderful host! Kind and patient. She does her best to accommodate the needs of those who stay at Ellies House. Very helpful. Thank you for the tips on snorkeling, bicycle renting and laundry facilities for our family! Not only did Ellie inform us about xiaoliuqiu, we also found out there was another mannenken pis statue outside Brussels, on the mainland of Taiwan.

Wonderful Stay, Thanks to Ellie! My stay at this place was incredible, thanks to Ellie! She was such a sweet and assisting person, always ready to help and made our experience truly amazing. The room itself was spotless, and the cleanliness really stood out. The location couldn’t be more convenient – close to everything we needed. We highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay!

Thank you for your hospitality! The house is perfectly located near the harbour and vase rock. The host is so nice and helped us/ answered all of our questions! (She helped us rent an electric bike and gave us many advices to organise our trip in Xiao Liuqiu). The breakfast was also very good and turtle themed. We also got gifted 4 printed photos. (THANKYOU!) All in all, we enjoyed our stay and recommend everyone to book this house ☺️☺️

Best stay. Amazing!!! Ellie is fabulous. So generous with her time and her help. I would stay here again and again. She helped us organise a scooter and our snorkel tour. I can't praise this place enough. Just brilliant. The little touches that make it so sweet.
