Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Comfortable rooms with comfy bed, pillows, nice shower and very clean. Suited our stay in Taipei very well. Close to metro, shopping etc. Easy to commute around Taipei via metro, bus, taxi . We particularly liked the downstairs cocktail bar attached to the hotel …..like descending into another world! Relaxed surroundings, jazz and excellent cocktails.

The shower area tiles are abit dirty. Will need to wear slippers when in shower.

Mattress was too bouncy. Pillow was too flat for a restful sleep. Reception staff were business-like (neither friendly or rude) - Perfunctory would sum up the general reception Staff’s service.
Amazing location - 5mins walk to Zhongshan MRT. Property was right smack in the bustling Zhongshan district, but was sufficiently peaceful. Bright, cozy interiors with very friendly housekeeping staff

There is no real curtain that blocks the light from the big window. Only a semi-white see-through blind. I was very annoyed because there was a construction site right outside the building/ our room window. The hotel was good but this was such a big issue for me. They also did not allow any early ( like 30 mins early) check in. We arrived at 2:30pm and literally waited on the street for 30 mins. But I guess this is an understandable policy. It gets cold at night, but there is no heating. But that is the same for every hotel in Taipei I presume.
Hotel was clean, even though the room was small, it had all it needed. The staff were kind, they even mailed me back a piece of clothing I left behind in the room. Nice location, walkable to the major stations and malls.

Cannot think of anything besides there is no proper dropping on/off area for a car. No big deal tho if you only use subway.
The location is everything! I personally love this area so the hotel location is ideal for us. You still need to walk around 8 mins to the nearest subway but this doesn't bother us -- we also love walking. The room itself is lovely. The size is decent. And it is pretty clean. I would recommend this hotel!

The toilet, no privacy; The breakfast can be a lot better with more varieties of food; Not much of amenities available.
Have been staying in this hotel for a few times, basically the location is perfect, it is in the middle of everything and it is quite clean. Love the convenience that I may order souvenirs of different brands through the hotel and all items can be delivered and packed in a box ready for the flight home.

Would be good to permit guests after check out to use a shower as many international flights depart late at night. Even if charged a small fee, the service would be appreciated.

Clean and modern hotel with nice design. Toiletries, tea and coffee were all good quality. Appreciated the laundry room. Staff were friendly and helpful. Location is decent, within walking distance to the train station and a lot of restaurants nearby. We enjoyed our stay and would go back again.
