How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

The shower doesn’t have a superar Jon from the rest of the bathroom, after a shower you’ll have to get your feet wet to go to the toilet.
Fantastic location, above the night market and a 3 minute walk from the beach, it also has a great terrace at the front to sit and enjoy a coffee. The staff is very friendly, I would recommend staying here.

Only small complaint is that we had one of the internal rooms so no window to the outside. Light coming from hall was very bright at night and lit up room, making getting a good night sleep a little difficult. A blockout blind on the window would be a good improvement.
Lovely staff and location. Snacks and drinks on offer and good free coffee in the mornings. A great vibe.

This place was exceptional. Great service, nice rooms at a nice price. Very generous offerings of unlimited fresh coffee, tea, drinks and snacks. Just step outside and you are at Kenting night market but very quite as set back from street.

Great location, right amongst the night market and walkable to a nice beach and restaurants and the bus stop. The owner was really nice and the place was so well thought out with nice coffee available in the morning and free snacks available. Great stay!

The location was perfect since we did not have a car. Staff were friendly and helpful. The beds were very comfortable.

Nothing to complain about!
We had a great stay at this pretty little hotel right on Kending's bustling main street. The rooms are clean and tastefully decorated and the view from the little terrace outside the lobby is really nice. The rooms were also surprisingly quiet, even though, as mentioned, the hotel is situated right by the town's main thoroughfare and the nightmarket. There is no breakfast offered but there are all kinds of complimentary snacks and beverages on offer in the tiny common area - a nice touch! The landlady also made fresh drip coffee every morning that we were welcome to take. (There is also a very nice breakfast restaurant right nextdoor that does danbing and sandwiches.) Although the landlady spoke little English, she was very helpful and accommodating and even moved us to a larger room when we spontaneously decided to extent our stay by one night.

The beach close to the location was empty when we were there. So we took a scooter or bus to get to more busy beaches, where you can also get drinks and rent e.g. a sunbed.
It had a good location directly at the Kenting night market. It was clean. It has a all in one bathroom, this is what you have to consider.

It will be better if it can accept credit card.
The place is very nicely decorated and clean. Within walking distance to the bus station. Host is very helpful to receive us when we arrived after the check in time.

The room wasn’t cleaned daily, it was unclear how often the room would be cleaned - suggest you check at the reception desk. We tried to request a room clean but struggled to find staff at the reception desk. The hot water for a shower takes 5-10 minutes.
Location was great - next to the national park and night market. The room was a good size and bed was comfortable.

Did not notice a mini fridge for storing snacks if you plan to go on a hike early in the morning. Since the 7-eleven is 24/7 this is a minor inconvenience at best and can be ignored.
Room is nice and cozy, air conditioning for the hot days. Location is close to 7-eleven for food and also close to a few really nice restaurants.
