it would be helpful to have breakfast available a little later - it finishes at 8pm. Also beware that local restaurants stop serving food at 8pm for dinner.

the views are amazing, across the valley, and the atmosphere is very serene as the hotel is located away from the main road. we loved that we could stay all together in a 2 bedroom cabin with our own terrace. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly and we could not be happier with the service we received. Thank you Aurora villa!

The staff was INCREDIBLY helpful and accommodating, offering to drive us to the bus stop uphill or to deliver breakfast to our room later. The view over the mountains is stunning and there is a bus connection to Puli and up to Hueanshan

I was disappointed that our room did not have a mountain view

Aurora Villa is in a beautiful, mountainous location. There are smaller standard double rooms, a larger accomdation that caters for 9 people in the main house and then individual villas. We had a standard double room. It was relatively small but contained everything we needed. Unfortunately, it did not have a mountain view (which I had expected). The tariff included breakfast. The breakfast - a choice of western or chinese - was very good. The coffee was good quality. The check-in was easy. The receptionist (a male - unfortunately, I did not get his name) was excellent and went above and beyond to assist us. The view from the deck at the front of the premises is outstanding. There are restaurants with easy walking distance. All and all, Aurora Villa was a lovely place to stay. It was value for money

Since apartment was on the second floor, it was only accessible via the stairs. We didn't dislike that point, but just to raise it out in case there are any elderly that cannot climb stairs. Fridge was located downstairs, so you would have to climb down to access it.

The apartment was on the second floor of the main reception building, staff were friendly and recommended some drivers as it would not have been convenient for 7 of us to travel to Puli by bus. They also recommended some dinner places with fetching/sending service. Apartment has european country vibes. Breakfast was good too.

Air conditioner was very smelly we avoid turning it on, it definitely needs cleaning.

Quiet, beautiful scenery and great service from staffs, even though they don't speak English, they can communicate well. Great room theming and designs. plenty parking for us traveling by car.

The Aurora Villa is very gorgeous. The rooms are spacious. We had the whole Villa to ourselves (group of 4) with 3 rooms, 2 bathrooms and a living room. Two of those rooms have balconies to sit, relax and enjoy the good view of the mountains. BUT, beware of the way to the villa if you use Google which directs you to the not so good, narrow and winding road. Please contact the villa and ask for directions before you go.

Rather hard mattress, not very soundproof (you could hear the neighbors). Narrow access road and gate to the parking area (go all the way down to the end of the road).

Small but nice room with all the basic things you need for a night. Fast and stable wifi. Limited english, but communication was good with quick response times and all the relevant information provided.

The front balcony was under renovation when I visited. I hope they can also remove the tree that blocks the view when you're on the balcony.

- Loft wooden chalet was very cosy - There was even a kitchen right next to the chalet with full size fridge, freezer, and basin area if needed. - Toilet was spacious, toiletries provided and also a hair dryer. - Thoughtful breakfast with either Chinese and Western option - Decided to stay in for dinner and hosts are able to help order from 2 or 3 restaurants nearby. - Chalets are down a flight of steps from the entrance area. They even had a baggage pulley to bring the luggage down so we didn’t have to lug bags down! Tip: property is off the main road, downhill and quite a narrow and winding road. last stretch down is quite steep. Helpful to arrive in daytime.

Very nice house to stay with absolutely friendly staff, there’s BBQ station for each house so make sure to buy your own meat before drive in to the mountain. You can buy charcoal and net at the Airbnb. 5 mins drive to 7-11 and many restaurants.

I thought I booked a room with balcony but we were given a ground floor room which is super tiny. don’t even have front porch, and not much space inside the room, either.

the breakfast is very good both Taiwanese style and western style. both quality and quantity are superb the staff member is very nice. we complained the bedding is dirty, they changed a clean fresh one for us right away.
