Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

Incredible hotel! The free breakfast is delicious (especially the mushroom and cheese omelet), there's a free candy room, free laundry, top floor kids play space, 2nd floor reading room, and the location between Taipei Main Station and the best night market in the city is perfect.

United States of AmericaRooms are on the smaller size, but it is to be expected when staying in the area! Bed is on the firmer side.
Great location within walking distance of multiple points of interest. Shower was a nice size, and the snack room had a lot of delicious and fun varieties to try! The racing game on the top floor was a fun time when wanting one more thing to do before turning in for the night. Loved the Bee theme!

SingaporeThe room is a bit small, but it's very value for money considering the location.
Convenient location (just 5min walk from the airport transit line). Friendly staff. Lift available. There's a snack bar at level 3 which is open to all customers who book a room here. There's also a reading area at level 2 and an entertainment area at the highest level.

The snack room. It will be so much better if the snacks are labelled accordingly. Which one is vegan etc

VietnamIt was a bit of a long confusing walk around/out of that large, busy Main Station area. Rooms are very small. Hallways also, and the one elevator that holds about 2 people with suitcases takes forever!
Loved the little touches everywhere. Snack bar?! Amazing! The rooms were thoughtfully designed and comfortable. Staff were very friendly and helpful as well. Super clean, pretty quiet spot surprisingly.

United KingdomMy "superior double" room was absolutely tiny. The bed was nice and big, but you had to squeeze past the end of it to get to the far side. Considering the lack of space, a few hooks would help? There are coathangers, but hooks for bags and so on - to keep them off the limited floorspace - would be good. And a hook in the bathroom for the towel would help. It was the first place I stayed in in Taiwan that didn't have a strict shoes-off policy, which I found slighty offputting, especially since my room had a carpet... I would have been happier leaving my shoes somewhere and wearing slippers... but none of these things spoiled my stay and I enjoyed my time at Bee House.
The staff were lovely - so helpful and pleasant, the location was great and the whole place spotless. There was a good breakfast included in the price.

SingaporeThe room was a little small on the small side and it became quite a squeeze once our luggages were open. Not an issue for short stays but I think it would be a problem if you had a lot of luggage to organise.
The hotel was very nicely decorated and we enjoyed the free snack corner. The beds were absolutely divine, we had the best sleep here. We also liked that the bath design kept water from splashing out of the bath area. Location-wise, it was a bit of a walk from the main part of Taipei Station but there's plenty to see along the way. The distance from Ningxia Night Market was also just nice for working off some calories after binging on food.

United KingdomRoom layout means that the adjacent room's bathroom interlocks with yours. Walls a bit thin so you get noise from others in hotel. Well insulated from road noise though.
Funky interior. Rooms very well equipped. Nice staff. Decent omelette brrakfast. I love the free snacks room and the reading room. You can borrow guide books from reception. Great location near main train station, bars, shops and restaurants.

PhilippinesI didn't like that the space between the end of the bed and wall were so close that I had to lift my luggage to cross to the other side. Possibly just my room because I was right beside the elevator but it's something to note. Also, I had mixed feelings for them cleaning the room everyday. While I greatly appreciate it, I wish I was given an option to opt out of it. Changing towels, slippers, etc. on a daily basis felt like a waste of supplies, especially since I was only on a short-term stay.
Bee House was so cute and had welcome snacks/candies for guests. They also let me store my luggage at the lobby when I arrived earlier than check in time. Room was clean and had everything that I needed. The hotel is just 10 min away from Taipei Main Station. If you're okay with walking for 20-30 min, you can also easily go to Ximending Walking District, Fu Hang Soy Milk and Beimen Station (for bus going to Jiufen Old Street).

United KingdomThis hotel is located a short 10 minute walk from the main Taipei railway station. The staff and general atmosphere of the place was warm and friendly with English understood and spoken pretty well. My room although not overly big, was very comfortable and had a large king size and was generally well equipped. Breakfast in the hotel's small cafe was a little basic. Given the hotel's location in a bustling area next to a busy road expect some traffic noise (not particularly an issue for me). The area like most of Taipei felt totally safe (if you exclude the normal traffic hazards).
