Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

The breakfast was good - order the big breakfast most of the time. They were generous with the squid in the squid beehoon soup. The staff were very friendly. Place was clean. The rooms were also very clean and spacious, with no foul smell. Soundproofing was also great. We could not hear our neighbours talk. Only when they slam the door back.

SingaporeI don't think there's anything I don't like about it! Perhaps, if anything, it would be the distance? It'll be a little tough to get here if one isn't a local and doesn't drive. But, it was okay for us as we engaged a service and had a tour guide to bring us around.
We went in late October and the place was decorated with Halloween props. There was a large skeleton figure in the center of the lounge area and it spoke periodically, which freaked me out initially because I didn't think that it could speak. All in good fun though! (: The staff were friendly and I liked how the lounge area provided reading materials for travellers to browse through and borrow during their stay. They also provided a drink (winter melon tea if I'm not wrong?) that's self-service and it was delicious. Room wise, I felt that it was spacious enough for two people. Water pressure in the bathroom was great and the toilet comes with a bidet! Breakfast was included (not buffet style but ala carte meals) with our room rate and it was satisfying.

GermanyThe breakfast is very Taiwanese - great if you like fish, seafood etc for breakfast. I am more conservative at breakfast and asked for toast and fruit. This then was not great. There should perhaps be one option of a plate of fruit + yoghurt + toast and jam or something like that for a more French-type breakfast. It would have been nice to have a drink in the evening, but it all seemed very closed. The continual Christmas music already in November was not nice.
Great for parking and for birdlife. Lovely staff, nice entrance hall.

The property was very modern & clean. I loved the water stations outside the room, we had a choice of cold, temperate or sparkling water. A plus for this hotel was the self serve laundry where we were able to wash our own clothes instead of roaming around town trying to find a laundromat. Plus easy car parking stops close to the town . Great place to stay when weather is not pleasant!!

TaiwanI like the location and the design of the hotel. It's surrounded by nature, and the interior design & furniture are simple, elegant, and practical. The breakfast is good. Besides the main dish, we got to try a variety of salad, fruits, bread, and beverages. It's a place that I'll visit again.

TaiwanAs mentioned, the windows are opaque and it's also not possible to properly open them. We were more there for exploring anyway, so for us this wasn't a problem. But if you're wanting to lounge in bed while enjoying views, then that's not so easy and you might want to opt for one of the rooms with terrace. Otherwise the common areas are a good replacement as well.
The hotel is located very close to the maritime museum in Keelung and it's just a 10-15min walk to a popular small hiking peninsula with great views, e.g. of Jiufen. It's also very easy to get to the hotel from Taipei by bus. Additionally there are some decent restaurants around for dinner on the peninsula in particular. Unfortunately the hotel itself does not have views of the ocean since it's separated from it by a big rock/hill. In the rooms the windows are also opaque, so you cannot really see outside in any case. There are some nice common area terraces to hang out on instead. The breakfast was buffet style with a choice of main. We took an omelette with shrimp and the portion was more than enough. Overall I'd come here again for a quick getaway.
