Slightly outside of town. But I enjoyed this location, and being able to cycle into town for food etc.

Cool deco. Free bike rental. Everywhere clean. Nice rural location. Lovely owner and very friendly and helpful. Chilled out J-indie music downstairs. Laundry and drier.

Beautiful hostel in a beautiful location. Really kind hosts, with adorable cats, and free bikes which is lovely to see the beautiful Puli. Super clean, and easily the best hostel I’ve stayed in. Rooms are soundproof - whilst I stayed a large group of cyclists were also staying, who I imagine headed off early in the morning (pre-8am), however I didn’t hear them leave at all. As a young female solo traveller, I felt safe and comfortable, and hope to be back.

This was the most beautiful and comfortable hostel I stayed at in a long time! 100% recommend. The owner is very kind and don’t let the distance to the center keep you from going, there are bikes to use for free!

Only thing I can fault the hostel is that instead of towels they provide individually plastic wrapped single use paper towels... would love to see the hostel owners making a better choice for the environment - then I would give 10 stars :)

This hostel is awesome! Such an interesting vibe, and Lawrence is a superstar and can give you so many restaurant recommendations that you will leave obese! Because of the industrial vibe sounds echo a lot off the hard surfaces (there aren't really any soft furnishings) but it wasnt crazy loud, I stayed an extra night and slept fine :)

I really enjoyed my stay at Dian Dian Hostel and can highly recommend this place to solo travellers and backpackers. The place is very clean and well-equipped with a very helpful and kind Owner. It is close to the nature yet not far from the city center :)

Very clean and the owner has a keen eye for details. Very nicely built place. The owner is also very warm and hospitable, able to have conversations with his guests, making them feel at home. A nice environment too where you can borrow the bicycle for free and just cycle around the village.

It‘s an incredibly beautiful house, created by the mother of the owner who is an architect. Everything is made with a lot of love into details. The house is always very clean, the owner is very nice and helped me out with questions about the area and gave me good advice for restaurants! In the common area you have a lot of space to read or chat and all the furniture seems to be quite new - and the beds are very comfortable! Also: the wifi is very good and fast! All in all, it was the best hostel I‘ve been to in Taiwan and would recommend it to everybody

The interior design is unique and cozy. It makes me feel like being at home. Even the share room has extra space to stretch yourself .

The fact that kids can stay there. It was peaceful until a couple came and their kids were running up and down screaming etc.
