They decided to renovate the room next to ours during our stay which was very noisy and smelly. This was very inconvenient when staying with small children. The elevator was very slow and a pain to use.

The room had a large bathroom with both a bathtub and shower stall even with the decent location. Was nice as we were staying with a small child and an infant.

Lovely view from hotel room. Good selection at breakfast. Great location - walking distance to Ximending on one side and the Main Train Station on the other. Lots of restaurants near the hotel. Bonus - free snacks.

A little rundown. I found out my bedsheets looked really dirty the first night before I slept in the bed. Make sure to inspect before use. They were swift with amending the issue and had bedsheets available for me within 15 minutes (I asked to change it myself).

Staff were very kind and helpful, both at front desk and at the cafeteria. The breakfast meal included with my booking had a variety of foods - white bread, congee, egg, radish cakes, vegetables, meats, and fruits. They also had free snacks and cup noodles available. I had a private bathroom and they offered to service the room every three days (which I didn’t take them up on). This place is as good as it gets for value and cost.

The hotel design is quite simple but okayish. I guess you get what you pay for.

They have free cookies, snacks, instant noodles, soft drinks, coffee, tea, refillable water. They have a small playroom for kids and a footsball table for entertainment. The location was really central, close to Ximending night market and Taipei main station.

They advertised a room with a view of the city. We saw the walls of a dirty office building across the street.

Lack cleanliness. Found 2 roaches in our room on different nights. Bathroom have mold in a lot of the grout lines.

There's multiple hotels/companies in one building so the lifts are slow and busy. Not many tables when the restaurant is shut to sit at.

I had a problem with the curtains, they were not blocking the light at all, I woke up at 6:00 cause it was full day in the room.

Real strength of the hotel was the location. Really close to a lot of interesting places to visit. The staff was also really nice, bed was comfy and the room was generally clean.

There is not much to say, the only thing is if you are very light sensitive I would recommend to bring a sleeping mask, not that it is very bright or a lot of light and would only be a problem if you are very sensitive to the light as me

Just being pernickety: Room was very small. It was fine for me on my own but would be very tight had I been with my partner. Bed was a little hard. I had a window but the view was of a wall.

Really good location: 5 minute walk to NTU Hospital metro station and 8 minute walk to Taipei Central Station for the Express airport train. Great water pressure in the shower. Good breakfast. Snacks such as instant noodles, biscuits etc available in the lobby all day. Pleasant staff. Good value for money.

We really liked this hotel for a number of reasons; the bed is firm but that is what we like so we didn't have any issue with it. Remember to ask for extra pillows as the room only comes with one each, the staff were happy to accommodate this. The room we had was plenty big enough, even though the bed does take up a large amount of the space. It was clean and tidy. The shower has amazing pressure, and there were plenty of hooks to hang everything on. Considering the location of the hotel, it was very quiet there. The lifts are slow, but it is a shared building and there are a lot of people coming and going. You may need to add a couple more minutes to you schedule if you are concerned about this. The staff were all very helpful and spoke English well enough for us to understand. Definitely ask for a map of the local area when you get there, I wish this was offered to us initially but after a couple of days we got given one when we enquired about finding a particular thing. The location is excellent to be able to easily get around Taipei. The breakfast options are substantial, and you can still eat toast, muesli and cornflakes if you are looking for Western food. Overall, we had a great 6 nights here and would not hesitate to stay here again or recommend to others.

I was left to empty my own garbage and recycling (staying multiple nights). The sheets had some stains from past use.

In hotel laundromat is a great inclusion (every hotel should have one). Very family-friendly lobby. Great value and location, right next to a park and near a metro stop.

- Staff was meh, not friendly except the guy who checked us in. - Wifi was non-existent at most times. Called up the reception to inform them, but no action was taken. - Bought breakfast on the last day. It was average at best, though the variety was good.

- Superb location, 10 mins walk from Taipei main station and 10 mins away from Ximending Walking District and Ximen MRT. - Room is spacious, especially for the location of the hotel. - Free snacks on offer at the reception. Also free-flow water, coffee & tea. - Laundry service is available, at a nominal fee. - Comfortable bed, not too hard/soft. - Our request for a baby cot was fulfilled. - Large bathroom with a tub.
