Room with 2 bunk beds, bathroom very new and clean. Overall building very neat with common space with roomtop and big sharing space in basement. It is a very warm and cozy place to stay and hisif Chiayi. Only take about 10min walk to the Night Market. Recommend!

Small rooms but you get what you pay for!

Good value for money. Washrooms are very small but clean. It's a utilitarian stay, great for anyone on a budget. Location is great, there is laundry on the roof anyone can use and a common kitchen. It's a quiet hostel and very peaceful

Bathroom is clean-ish, a bit moldy here and there due to poor air circulation. Need to turn on the bathroom fan and open the window

Perfect location, in walking distance to the train station, bus station, and night market, friendly and welcoming hosts. Nice roof top terrace and kitchen. The mattress/bed was pretty hard though.

Arrived after their work hours, so they provided me remote check in instructions which were clear. Good location (close to station and Wanhua street, where the night market is) and comfy beds. Has a kitchen, laundry and social area which is nice.

Room is a bit cramped, not enough space for luggage. The bed also creaks a bit with movement from top bunk. Room has its own ensuite toilet and bath, so smell and mist from toilet and bath can go into the room.

Close to the train and night market. Very accommodating staff. They gave directions to my taxi driver and also waited for me to arrive even if it's a bit past their work hours (reception is only until 6pm). They also allowed me to store my luggage for a few days for a fee. They have luggage elevator for luggage which was very much appreciated. They have laundry, kitchen/dining area and social area.

My mattress was laid on the floor, it might not be comfortable for those with back or knee problems.

Location is lovely, 5 minutes walk from Chiayi train station. Level 5 public area was lovely, you can get drinking water, you can use their kitchen utensils, the outdoor seating area was peaceful and quiet. I've used their washer and dryer, they worked very well.

The shower room is inside the room, so the humidity is high and not easy to dissipate.

No complaints, this stay met my expectations.

The location is extremely close to the train station as well as to a lot of shops/restaurants and the night market which was very convenient! I also liked the value of the private room. It had everything I needed for a one night stay. Another plus was that they have coin-operated washer and dryer machines (you have to pay but I'm happy it was available for use and includes laundry detergent you can use). Even though the staff only spoke a little bit of English, they were very friendly to me and tried their best to help me! :)

I didn't like two things - our room was near the street, so it was possible to hear motorbikes and cars passing by during the night. It wasn't a big issue for us, because we were very tired after all the hiking, but I suppose it might be a problem for some other guests. The second thing is the price - I think 60 USD for a double room is too much, especially given the fact that it is a relatively simple hostel room. Those two things are why I am deducting two points.

The hostel is very clean and located in the very center of Chiayi, close to both the night market and the train station (from where the bus to Alishan departs). Many shops and restaurants nearby, also access to public transportation. The bathroom was also perfect, the bed was comfortable to relax after a whole day of walking. Easy check-in and check-out anytime, water dispensers available at multiple spots.

The water after showering did not drain very well so the bathroom was pretty wet most of the time after showering. If you have a street side room it can get a little loud but unless you are a very light sleeper it’s not that big of an issue

Close to the station and very friendly staff. They also helped us book a scooter which was very kind. Clean rooms and cool social area. Laundry and a kitchen also present. The area has lot’s of great restaurants a few minutes away.

They didn’t let me check in before the time even though the room was ready. The mattress was on the floor and was quite hard. I like a hard mattress but this one was a but extreme.

Everything was fine given the price of the room. With the futon bed the furniture could be better thought through to being ground level.

Easy self check in and very convenient location to stop off en route to Alishan. Room was comfy and there was lots of social space.

I stayed here so that I could visit Alishan. It is in a great location. Very close to the train and buses as well as one of the night markets and some of the other sights in Chiayi. The room is quite small, but as a solo traveler I did not mind. It is a fair price for a private room and bathroom. There is no natural light in the room and the lights arent very bright, so it might not be a place you want to hang out, but this didn't bother me because I was out most of the day and only returned to go to sleep.
