Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):

An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The breakfast choices were a bit limited, but I did find something I liked every day. The dryers were sort of slow, but still, having laundry right in the hotel was very convenient.
Great location, clean and modern rooms. Surprisingly quiet for being so close to the train. I stayed there for six days before my longer residence was available, I was very happy with the accommodations here. Free laundry is great!

We loved our stay here. The room was clean, quiet and ample space for us with one suitcase. It would be tight if we had more luggage. The shower was wonderful, and the bed very comfortable. We enjoyed a different but similar range of breakfast options each day, either mostly Asian style food but toast and cereal Western options. The location is very well positioned to walk to things as well as being close to the station. Would highly recommend this hotel.

Mattress and bed sheet are clean, but quality can be improved.

As with most hotels a lack of hooks in the bathroom. That’s all!
Every thing was great. The staff were wonderful and the hotel was spotless. They had a laundry room which was well set up and organised. If the machine has washed clothes left in it advise reception and they will empty it etc. We enjoyed the breakfast.

The rooms were a bit small which took time to get used to but overall a great place to stay!
Awesome staff and location! I picked this hotel based on the location because I love traveling by train/subway in Taiwan and it's a 2 minute walk to the hotel from the station. The breakfast was great with mostly local Taiwan dishes and a decent selection of coffee, milk and tea. It was also my 40th birthday during my stay here and the hotel staff presented me with delicious cream puff as well as jello for breakfast and out of nowhere in the afternoon with cheesecake along with Happy Birthday written in matcha....shout out to the staff for making my bday a memorable one! This will be my go to hotel when I return to Taichung!

The breakfast wasn't too flavoursome.
It was a great location, and a very comfy room. The staff were friendly, the hotel provided a lot of great amenities, and included breakfast which was sufficient to start your day. I also liked how the room got a refresh of snacks and water for free too.

It’s a tiny room. With bigger luggage, might be a tight squeeze. However as it’s very convenient to the train station, I would still go back again. Really depends on what type of stay that the traveller wants.

Our receptionist Helen was absolutely amazing. Very pleasant and helpful. Very close to the MRT main station. Room was clean and tidy. Breakfast was fine. Although not officially my birthday for another 2 day they surprised me with a small cheese cake at breakfast, very nice 😊.
