How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Verified reviewSuperb location, close to airport and suburban MRT. My room very spacious, very clean and modern. Also very close to access to underground malls that connect to stations - useful for inclement weather. Another Hotel going green, by not oversupplying amenities or daily housekeeping. If staying as a family, walk the kids past the fire trucks on the same block. Lobby is a "cafe style" affair, where bought breakfast, lunch or dinner can be eaten while looking at Taipei Main Station.
There are some odd things worth knowing. There is no ground floor lobby or reception, just an innocuous building recess with two elevators. Go up to the fifth floor. The entire hotel is on this floor. Room numbers on doors can create an impression of double vision. The window with a view was in the bathroom.

The room is not soundproof specially if you have a baby, the cry of the baby can hear to the other rooms

Verified reviewVery convenient location right at Taipei main station. Love the common lounge area with 24 hrs snack & drinks available. Kids love the small play area there and the kid's suite rooms are very well suited for a family with 1 - 2 kids.

Verified reviewThe location is very convenient to go anywhere. The hotel lobby available with a coffee machine and water dispenser which is useful. They also available to take bottle water and drinks + there is microwave and even baby bottle sterilizer. Everything is good.
You can’t flush the toilet paper into toilet bowl which is the usual issue in Taiwan.

The rooms weren't the best in noise as I could hear my neighbours snoring and kids slamming doors and plumbing rushing through the walls late into the morning. I didn't get any sleep to be fair to them. They did supply ear plugs but I needed to get up early for a train so I couldn't afford to miss my alarm.

Verified reviewWe recently stayed at Click Hotel for 9 nights and overall had a pleasant experience. The hotel is conveniently located near Taipei Main Station, just steps from the underground mall and surrounded by many local eateries. It's also about a 15-minute walk to Ximending, making it easy to explore the area on foot. While the building itself appears old and rundown from the outside—which was concerning at first—the hotel interior is well-maintained, clean, and nicely designed. It was a good value stay given the location and overall comfort.
We booked the Triple Room with two beds. The room was simple, clean, and comfortable. However, it only had one nightstand and could benefit from an additional one, along with more electrical outlets for convenience. Free snacks offered are lacking varieties, compared to some of the other nearby hotels.

Verified reviewLocation is very central. Room is ok as both of us can open our suitcases. Toilet is really big and wished that part of the space could have been part of our room. I like that they provide biscuits and instant 3-in-1 coffee and tea and hot water at the common area for all guests. There is also a coin operated washing machine and dryer which is really convenient for those who need to do laundry. Hotel occupies 5th floor of a commercial building. There are many eateries within walking distance.
The corridor is on the dim side. Would have been better to be brighter. My friend put her coins into the dryer instead of the washing machine after she loaded her clothes so it would be good to have clear signages on the machines.
