Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

FranceRooms are super tiny and without windows. It can get depressing if you spend too much time in it.
Location is perfect, close to the MRT, easy to find. So many good food options around. There is more than enough shared toilets and bathrooms per floor. And they were always spotless.

SingaporeNot totally don’t like. But maybe i would suggest to make the single room loft style. Cause the space too narrow. I had 1 medium luggage and its kinda hard to move around once i opened it. Also, maybe can issue 2 cards? its a hassle to remove the card everytime needs to go toilet. But ideal if solo traveller that wants solo room.
The property is near the station. They have room service.

PhilippinesNo bidet.
I like the location, very near the Ximending walk and Ximen station, just walking distance actually. The room is big enough for a group of 4, and clean as well. The bathroom is spacious too. They allowed us to have a late check out, without additional cost.

SingaporeThe room had a slight smell, and there were obvious parts of the room that were overlooked during cleaning (dust under bed and on the floor, etc)
Location was very convenient and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

The room is located in the Ximen area, making it convenient for traveling around Taipei. The small room is just right for one person. This is my second time staying here—great value for the price and comfort. You can leave your luggage before check-in and after check-out.

United StatesNice place with a good location. Only down side was the female bathrooms were on a lower floor. The room I booked was a private room and was very cramped and most of the space was taken up by very steep stairs leading to the bed. Would stay here again

Taiwanwe booked quadruple type of room and it's enough if you don't have big luggage's, just bring hand carry luggage if you want this type of room. during our stay we heard a loud shouting outside I think it's the local people fighting for something. and the towel is over used, it needs to be replaced just to be presentable.
location is very good, it's my first time to booked a hotel in Ximen, it's so convenient all you need is near the hotel. our hotel is located outside the reception lobby, and it's a good way if want privacy

United StatesMale cleaning staff was entering and cleaning the female toilet and shower rooms despite knowing a female guest is using the toilet. This was before 11:00 a.m. If it was past check out, it could be understood. But, it is not considerate before 11:00 a.m. Mornings are toilet and shower time.

PhilippinesTV is not a smart TV and no Netflix/YT. But TV has cable but most channels are in Chinese and only 2-3 channels are in English.
The location is at the center of Ximending area. It is 5mins walk to Ximen MRT Station. AC was cold and nice. They have hot and cold shower. Mini fridge is available and a safety box. A lot of restaurants, tea shops and convenience stores around the area.

GermanyThere was a weird smell in two of the three rooms I have stayed in. If you’re unlucky your room is not on the same floor as the bathrooms for your gender as each floor is dedicated to one gender. Also, if your room is next to the bathroom you will clearly hear the water running from bathroom.
Great location close to restaurants and the subway stop. The rooms and the common bathrooms were clean.

SingaporeRooms are very small for a quadruple room but sufficient. Really wish there were hooks in the room and toilets for us to hang coats/clothes. Toilet was also very cold need to leave the toilet door open for the air to warm up with the rest of the room. The aircon of the 1st room we were noisy but we requested a change of room which was much more silent. If staying 2nd floor, be prepared for some sounds from the street below. Overall good for price paid in the middle of Ximen.
The location is very close and convenient to Ximen station and Ximen shopping district with many eateries around. Although the first room we stayed has flaws (refer below), a guy whose manager or owner was very receptive to our request for a room change and even helped us shift the luggages and bags over. The beds are comfortable and the aircon/heater was working well.

SingaporeThe hotel was a separate building from their main building, have to walk across a small road to use their laundry facilities. Room was a bit small, only barely have space for one large luggage. Wifi speeds were really bad, no more and 20ish Mbps. Can't really do much except for watching videos. Not flexible to allow an early check in unfortunately. Their laundry facilities were bad, washing machines were old, drying machines were full of lint and dirty.
Nice and clean queen size bed room with private toilet. Nice big window, a proper table and very good security. Location was relatively close to ximen station. Also allowed to leave luggage there before the check in. Counter was very helpful with getting a taxi service to the airport.

FranceRoom is super small and you cannot really open your suitcase if it is a full size big one.
It is good value for money but you have exactly what you paid for as in a bed in a room and shared bathrooms and showers. It is very clean and you have access to washing machine which is great when travelling. It is super central and easy to walk/take the train from.

NetherlandsMy room was in another building, with a room with very little character. Shower a bit uncomfy as the shower head moved by itself. Beds were soft.

AustraliaUmm... not much to not like. Oh, I couldn't stay on my return because it was booked out! Ok, the room could be more spacious ..but it would be more expensive. Also, my room could've faced a direction other than east, so the morning sun didn't heat up the BIG WINDOW. ..but that's unreasonable. I'm struggling to find things to not like!
What a hidden gem ColorMix is!! Great location - near enough to Ximen nightlife without being bothered by it, shops and services in the immediate area. Attentive owner & staff with good English. Quiet enough, fully-featured compact room with fridge and comfortable bed/pillows, on-site kitchenette & coin laundry - see Reception for coin change. TV in room with decent choice of local channels, including a couple of English (US) ones.
