Hong KongWe stayed in a 2-bed ensuite room. Although the room wasn’t very spacious, it had everything we needed. The owner was so kind and welcoming — she introduced me, as a first-time visitor, to the island’s main sights. I went around the island on moped. The atmosphere was friendly, with guests getting along well (and it’s dog-friendly too!). I especially enjoyed the owner’s “seabird nest,” which was perfect for quenching my thirst.

United Kingdom1) Breakfast--not a great arrangement. 2) Some machine-like noise above my room, something to do with the lighting, as it was explained to me, can be ignored. 3) No one on reception during slow times. That's understandable, but it was slightly hard to get attention, for example, when checking out a bit earlier. This can lead to problems. 4) They could not take a credit card payment.
Quite a homey B&B in Chenggong Village, the north coast of Green Island. I chose it for location primarily and because it was good value for money, as a double room. The room was fine and I liked the bathroom and so on. Quite private. This place caters to young Taiwanese on a budget holiday. The staff are quite young and do their best.

GermanyPersonally, I prefer it, when the shower and toilet are separated. However, many of the hostels on the island don't have that. Also, the room could have been a little cleaner. There was quite a bit of dust on the furniture.
The pickup service from the ferry was very convenient and easy! We received a scooter right away, and they transported our luggage to the hostel. On the way back, we only had to drive to the ferry and we received our luggage there.

PolandAll amenities were quite old and not too well maintained, the white tablecloth next to the bed was so greasy that we didn’t want to put our stuff on it, please change it :’) The linen didn’t feel like it was made of cotton. But all that doesn’t really matter too much when visiting the beautiful Lüdao

Sloveniaclose to white terror memorial park and beautiful beaches, but not very close to convenience store (7/11 and family mart are both closer to nanliao harbor)
the staff was incredibly helpful, arranged an e-scooter to drive around the island, picked up and drove to the harbor, took my luggage back to the hostel. there is a fridge in the reception area to store food, room was very nice, amenities provided

United KingdomCommunication through booking.com was difficult, maybe WhatsApp would be easier for future as our international sim card didn't seem to work well.
Host was very friendly, had small problem with our room which was fixed very quickly! They also helped collect our luggage from the port which was appreciated. Everything was as pictured, so happy to say it met our expectations.

Taiwani was looking for a place with a breakfast included (willing ot pay a little more for that feature) and since this place was supposed to have a great breakfast, i decided to book this one. i was a little disappointed that i only got coupons which i was supposed to use at a breakfast-restaurant. It was only 50 NT$-coupon, i couldnt eat very much with it. the breakfast-restaurant was okay though.
great staff, great place, great room. they picked me up from the port and helped me rent a bicycle and also took me back to the port on the day of departure! very kind people who took the time to explain a lot about green island.

United KingdomIt went downhill after this.The housekeeper left for the mainland on the 2nd day of my stay. I had booked a morning snorkeling trip and waited an hour outside the hostel but no one turned up. There was no one at the hostel. I sent messages and eventually after well over an hour I was told it had been cancelled due to the sea being too rough. There was never anyone on reception day or night. I had to send messages through Booking.com and it would be many hours or the next day before I got a response. I found out the next day that a tropical storm was coming and that everyone had to stay indoors for 2 days. The ferries were also cancelled for the next 2 days. If I'd known earlier I may have decided to leave the island that day whilst I still could. Everything was closed. There really needs to be more communication. I know it was an extreme circumstance, a tropical storm but surely that's more reason to check on your guests.There was also no cleaning done to my room throughout my stay.
A good spot for walking around the island and shops and restaurants nearby. A warm welcome. and a lift from the port.

New ZealandLeon was amazing fantastic English and super helpful...they picked us up off the ferry...grabbed us a scooter...showed us maps...all staff were super friendly and the building was really clean...great location kind of in the middle of everything...breakfast was great....and then to finish the stay they dropped our bags off to the ferry for us...amazing service
