All good. Just remember the main door is not where Google Maps says, but you enter directly from the car parking space.

The staff is awesome! They are very kind and helpful. The hostel is perfectly located just 5 minutes walking from the harbour and the intercity bus stop. With a cool rooftop where to chill, it has the perfect combination of amount of people to hang out with and not so many so you can enjoy a peaceful and calm environment. You also has a bicycle rental shop on the ground floor and a 7-eleven store 50 meters walking. Thanks for making my stay at the lake so great :)

Bathroom setup wasn’t my favorite — 4 people sharing a single combined sink/shower/toilet. Would be nice if there was one extra ‘overflow’ toilet or sink.

Great staff, lovely common area, helpful with all excursions and logistics. No shoes policy is the best!

This was a very social hostel in a very beautiful location. Not only was I welcomed by the hostel owner, there were also two volunteers present. In the morning you can receive a light breakfast, while in the evening you can join some card games. The terrace is a nice place to chill out and don't forget to ask for a discount coupon when you want to rent a bike or have a mouthwatering breakfast.

Only thing is that there is only 1 bathroom in the dorm, and no common area toilet.

Everything was clean, comfortable bed, good wifi. Great location a few minutes walk from where the bus drops you. Staff were nice and helpful about getting around, renting bikes, etc. Love the open rooftop! Good chill area with a nice view and breeze. Cute little lockers for valuables and lots of the space in the 8bed dorm.

This was my third stay at Nomads so I obviously like it! It is in a great location, close to everything, and the real highlights are the roof terrace and the incredible friendly and helpful stuff Many thanks for being my SML home from home!

Each room has 1 bathroom attached which is a toilet and shower combined (like a normal flat). Someone decided to wash their hair one morning at 7am and there were a few people who really needed to pee and were hopping around the room waiting for ages until we were forced to go to the next room! Luckily I woke up early enough to catch my bus even with the waiting but this would've been a problem if I hadn't left enough time.

Staff were fantastic, super helpful with everything from info and tips about the lake to onward travel. And great conversation otherwise. Location great, short walk from the Shuishe bus stop and close to ferry and nice cycling and hiking trails. The location on Google is wrong so had to ask around to find it. As I was leaving before the normal breakfast time, Nanu showed me where the bread/ toaster/ peanut butter/ coffee etc was kept and told me to help myself to anything I wanted before I left. That is so awesome of them to do that! Amazing, bright, spacious room and beds are absolutely enormous. Everything neat and clean and so comfortable. Was such a pleasure to stay here. I wish I'd stayed longer.

Cannot think of anything

Really enjoyed the stay. Tip: better take the room with more beds, it is much more spacious. The room with 4 beds is really small. Cool common area on the roof with kitchen and living room, great to hang out (there is nothing else to do in the evening in the town anyway). Kind and helpful owner and volunteers who are working there are just awesome people and make you feel welcomed. And try to go to The Nomad Day Cafe, it had the best bread I had in Asia in months.

This hostel has a very friendly and harmonious vibe. I met people before even I got to reception. The owner was really welcoming and friendly, also gives you all the information about Sun Moon Lake, and where to eat/what to do.

Nothing, everything was perfect!

The hostel was very close to the main leisure area, very clean and very warm! The beds were very comfortable and everyone was so friendly! We loved staying there and meeting new people from all around the world. It was a place of peacefulness and warmth! <3

This is so far my favourite hostel in Taiwan; it had a chilled but social vibe. The owner definitely takes pride in providing a great experience, wanting to get to know you on a personal level and offers great travel tips. I throughly enjoyed my stay here and would recommend it to solo travellers.

Everything was fantastic!

Such a great hostel and an amazing vibe. I met a lot of fun people and the environment in the common space was very friendly and sociable. Incredible friendly staff, great at helping you make the most out of your visit. Comfortable bedding and clean rooms. Overall this place has a fantastic vibe. I would definitely recommend this place while Visiting Sun Moon Lake.
