The location is walking distance from the ferry harbor, very convenient The host was so kind and even drove down to check if the ferry was there when we were running late to leave, really incredible service

Great location. Friendly people. Close to harbor. 1 min to walk.next to 7/11. The people can reserve a motorbike you pick up in the harbor. But you must ring a valid int drivers license. They dont want to get their goats on the road killed...;-)

The staff was very nice, reactive and gave me a lot of useful information. The location is perfect, near the Harbor and near all the scooter rentals to ride around the island. Price is pretty fine for the island. And there is a very cute & chubby Shiba dog. What could be improved : the facilities are not the best I've seen in Taïwan. Of course it's a remote island so you can't expect city standards there. But the place would be perfect if it was a bit tider & cleaner. Also I was alone at that time (during offseason) which was very comfortable but I feel like 14 people in that place might be a lot.

The staff was super friendly and helped us out so much! They organized bicycles for us because we couldn’t get motorcycles and they even found a place where we can snorkel without needing motorcycles to get there~ The location is only ~5min from the harbor and right next to a 7/11, a supermarket and a thai restaurant. It was super convenient

The staff and owner were very friendly, the atmosphere was cosy. The hostel is located near the port and shops. Scooter rental is available at walking distance from the hostel. Meals can be taken from any of the nearby breakfast shops or restaurants.

The hostel is really close to the harbour so it is easy to reach it by walking. The host was very kind and helpful, I had some serious problems withdrawing money with my credit card and she helped me a lot. If you plan to visit Lanyu, I suggest you take cash with you. Moreover, in the island there is no pharmacy and when I arrived I felt horrible because I had boat sickness (I forgot to buy medicine before coming). For my departure the host provided me some for free, I really appreciated it. I truly enjoyed my stay at Dodowu Homestay and I would highly recommend you to this accommodation.

Staff was super friendly and even spoke English! They helped us with all our travelling needs and also suggested some places to stay on the island. The homestay also has a rooftop which is lit up at night so you may enjoy a couple drinks there with your friends. It is perfectly located next to one of the only 2 7-Elevens on the island and also the ferry terminal. If I ever visit Lanyu again, DoDoWu Homestay will be my first choice!

I found a place in a hurry, so I looking in your site, but when we arrived and when my friend take a shower she told me they didn’t provide the towel, then I went to ask the owner our room without towels, she told me she told me in the website, then I went to check it was written in the replied email after I made the order. It was the only hotel or motel in my 50 or 60 life’s visit more than hundreds of them with 2800 prices without providing the towels. How count a normal traveller will bring his/her towels in the limited space of their trunk. And how can any visitor had chance to find out this tiny details in the replied email. It caused me a greatest embarrassment for my friend and her son, it felt like I found a cheap place to save money. Please don’t let this kind of facilities to list on your website to cut your users in surprise. It is worst experience in my life of rent a hotel. It is only one hotel in my 50 years life refused to provide towels which by common sense shall as basic tools every hotel shall provide. Bed! Bed! Bed!
