How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The bathroom is quiet small, but I don't expect much though, with this price and this location.
The bed is big and comfy. There are tissues, towels, shampoo, conditioner available in the bathroom. The host people are nice. And it is placed at a really ideal location, right inside the night market, though it is quite hard to find.

We stayed in a quadrupple room, 2 double beds, 1 double bed is against the wall and you have to craw out of the bed especially at night, you will disturb your partner, which is not practical to have the bed against the wall. Room is very small and narrow, not enough space to open our luggage.
Location is good for those who wants to go Fengjia night market.

While the location is cool, it is far away from the city center, and taking a bus to get there can be annoying. There isn't really a reception, but that's not a big problem because the staff is very reactive on messaging apps.
Sky Tree B&B seems a bit lost in a small street, but once you're inside the room, you really feel at home. The bed is big and comfortable, the decoration is cute and the bathroom is spacious. All the basics were available. This place is right next to one of the best night markets in Taichung and you might miss it if you stay more in the center of the city. It would be a shame because it is a great market, with also a lot of cool shops with anime figures. We could keep our bags behind and come later to pick them up after check-out, very useful.

Nothing of any note. The quadruple room that I had for one night was possibly not quite as modern as the double.
Really great place and fantastic value. Just in a back street close to night market. I had a double room that was very nice.

Toilet no place to hang stuff. Water was bit hard to control warm. Whole toilet wet after bath cos no segregation. No extra towel to dry feet. Each room different design.
Room had space for 2 luggage bags and can walk around without tripping. Located in small alley that joins to fengjia. Had a table and chairs.

A little noisy as the walls so thin, but nothing too disturbing and you cannot hear sounds from the street outside.
Clean, nice room, the most comfortable bed I’ve slept in in a long time. Literally 1 minute walk to the street food market.

The poor soundproof
The locations was superb, less than 5 min walk is the Feng Chia night market. Lots of food nearby, but it’s some distance away from the Taichung HSR.

- I was met on my arrival - The room was comfortable with an adjoining balcony. - Very quiet premises so one was able to rest - Close to the night market and convenient shops. - Felt extremely safe.

This location is right next to the FengJia night market (Literally 1 minute walk) which makes it extremely convenient for anyone who is travelling to Taichung and wants to visit the night market. The room overall is quite clean and well maintained.

The room is kind of small with two double beds. The bathroom is too basic without any amenities. They have provided toothbrushes, toothpaste and shampoo and bodywash. If the hotel can provide other amenities, that will be great. Also, they should remodel the bathroom to be cleaner and more suitable for 3-4 people staying in the room. Thanks.
The staff is pretty friendly and helpful. The room is kind of clean.

Cannot watch a proper TV show in the room. The Internet laggy. There is setup box to watch TV program however the shows are laggy due to the internet speed.

Hmmm nothing
The room is small (as in description) but it has everything we need and it is kindly clean. The location is great (near night market and buses). The host is also supportive.

It looks like a condominium for students, so it's reasonable that there's no reception. Sometimes you gonna wait for staff to pick you up when their shop is closed.
Room was clear, equipped with a big mirror which is extremely useful for female guest . It is very well located , 3-minute walk from the Fengjia night market.

Only stayed 1 night as transit and only wanted to visit the night market which was just a short walking distance so there's nothing that I didn't like.
Very near the night market and the room is of decent size with a balcony! The staff was very helpful, we couldn't find the place and he walked to where we were and took us to the hotel. Room is good, bed as well. Got elevator too so no lugging of luggage up any stairs.
