Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Singapore>There are only two Elevators serving three floors of hotel rooms. checkout maybe delay if are many tourists checkout on the same day, >The hotel room high-back computer chair is dusty and it needs a good clean up!
Away from tourist attractions hence the location is quiet to rest. It is 5 mins walking distance to the Metro. The hotel room is amazing spacious and thanks for the room upgrade!

JapanThey lied about the gym
I liked everything except that it was mentioned that there is a gym but it is not true. There are two small treadmills in a very small room. I do not think it counts as a gym. Besides this the rest was perfect, the room is too good for the amount I paid with a big office table if you are working from the hotel. Everything is nearby (restaurants, metro, starbucks (4 minutes walk). The laundry room was very helful and affordable. Breakfast is good enough.

AustraliaCouldn't find anything to fault.
Good location, easily accessible by Metro Rail. Very convenient with the night market just across the road. Room was clean and facilities were in good condition. The free self-service coffee at reception was a lovely welcome. The size of our room was huge, including the beds (seemed larger than King Size), and had a beautiful view of a nearby park.

GermanyThe furniture is a bit old and there are some old water/lime stains in the bathroom that could use a good scrubbing. The shampoo provided didn't feel very high-quality in the hair, so we opted to buy our own. Other than that all good
The room (Queen Superior) was quite spacious.

South KoreaThe corridor smells like an old hotel. I arrived in Taiwan on a rainy day and stayed here for just one night. The hallway to the 12th floor had a strong, unpleasant odor. The room was quite dark, and the exhaust fan—or was it the air conditioner?—made a loud noise in the middle of the night. Since it’s an "eco room," as they call it, there were no towels provided—a rather surprising omission, considering even the most basic accommodations usually offer at least one. The front desk staff could also be a bit more welcoming with a smile.
The best thing about this hotel is its location. The staff speaks decent English and responds to requests promptly.

NetherlandsInteraction with staff was Taiwan-typical, so don´t expect to get a very close link. The area was not interesting at all, although public transport was ok. In the night it´s dead and you have difficulty to find any food closeby; there are much better areas not too far. Although the square meters are high, the space is not designed very intelligently, so some smaller rooms may actually provide a similar level of comfort. As typical for many Taipei hotels (applies to all of the 3 I tested), they are slightly run down and postpone renovations as long as posible, despite the relatively high prices. Fotos look better than reality. The worst was the sofa, where you really do not want to sit down (see my foto) :-( Make sure you put this sticker on the bed if you want them to make the bed.
After having stayed during xmas/NYE in overpriced Urtrip, prices dropped ca. 50% and I tried this hotel, since I got much more space for a similar price level. Indeed, if you need more space, this is better than some of those tiny rooms which are wide-spread. I got a quiet room which was great. As far as I remember, matrass was slightly on the softer side (seems to be typical), but I did not have back issues.

United KingdomThe room was clean and very good quality with replacement of towels, bed linen and generous supply of bottled mineral water. I wouldn’t say the hotel had a gym, it had a running machine and a bike. You can take a room with breakfast, or pay extra for it on the spot, having familiarized with the filling. Location is close to a metro stations, so getting around is easy. I would highly recommend this place for a stay Taipei!

DenmarkRegarding the breakfast.. I enjoyed the coffee and there was a rather nice selection of Asian/Taiwanese hot dishes but it would be nice with some more fruits and maybe some pastries but it's just a matter of personal taste. You could buy pastries nearby hotel.
My first time at this hotel. Nice helpful staff. Free room upgrade. Location is very good with bus stop just outside and 7-8 min walk to MRT. Multifunction power sockets. Free coffee and laundry on the top floor. Great value for money! I wouldn't mind stay here again.

DenmarkThe breakfast buffet was acceptable but in some ways a bit lacking. Would expect some more fruits, maybe little more western "ingredients" but think the traditional Taiwanese breakfast dishes would please many. If you want pastries there is a decent bakery just around the corner.
The staff was kind and helpful. The room was spacious and I got free upgrade. All the necessary amenities including mini bar, hairdryer, air-condition, power sockets for multiple countries and free water bottles. There was a fitness room with one treadmill and one bike.. there could be some dumbbells/ free weights but anyways.. there are a lot of other things to do when in Taipei. The location is near green and brown MRT line and right outside is a bus stop.
