The breakfast was very poor - took 1 look at the buffet definitely not worth 200 HKD equivalent. So we ate out.

The bathroom tap is the long "U shaped" type which results in water splashes everytime. Showerhead water takes awhile to be heated. I was promised Taipei Dome view but was facing old residential block instead.

Spacious room, great location with many food options and convenience stores nearby. Housekeeping aunty is very nice, she prepares a bag of clean towels and water bottles when I did not call for housekeeping in the morning. There is USB fast charging ports at table and bedside.

While there are a lot of positives about the hotel, the odor from the drains in the bathroom was rather pungent. When I went to reception, they let me know that the odor occurs on a lot rooms on the higher floors and there was not much they could do as it’s an old building. This is unfortunate as it really detracted from my stay but luckily I was only at the hotel for a couple of nights.

United Hotel is situated in a great location on the border of Daan and Xinyi. It’s right next to the MRT line which I found to be super convenient to get around. The hotel seems to be newly refurbished and the rooms are of a decent size. I also had a lovely view of Taipei 101.

Too noisy in the morning wile the works were cleaning other rooms in my floor. The WC door hits the toilet, difficult to walk to access it.

When searching using the Google map, I was kind of sceptical about the hotel, the exterior looks a bit old and there isn't much food around the area. But upon arrival, I realised the interior was very posh, clean and modern. The staffs are very friendly and polite. There is a street of food behind and it is very near to the metro station. Well definite stay in this hotel again.

The air conditioning is fixed at a certain temperature, it will be a bit warm in the room in the evening.

The location is absolutely convenient, only a few minutes walk to the Metro station. There are loads of nice cafes and restaurants around. The breakfast is nice and gives you variety of choices.

Needs a full length mirror and magnifying mirror in the bathroom . Bathtub hard to get in and out so definitely not for older folks. Couldn’t turn on the heater setting it was cold in the room for me .

Friendly and helpful staff . Nice spacious room , clean and comfortable. Bed was a little soft and bedding very new and kind of starchy . Great location close to everything - shops and restaurants. Can see Taipei 101 from the hotel .

Breakfast is expensive in the hotel but outside there are good coffee shops that serve awesome breakfast sets.

I like the location and surrounding environs - in front of Taipei Dome, Sun Yat Sen Memorial and some walking to taipei 101. I like our room window that opens up to views of all these 3 attractions. Food choices are limited though but a few minutes walk takes you to good restaurants. Overall, its a good, clean and well-located hotel.

The Bed is too soft for me. Thoug harder pillow was offered, it didn't help my back.

Overall, it's a good value for Taipei: clean, efficient, and comfortable. I like street food around the hotel.

I would not say that I didn’t like it but i I think the building is somewhat older which makes it that you hear neighbouring rooms. I always sleep with earplugs when I’m abroad so I always can get my rest.

Location was convenient and close to the subway system from Taipei. Room was nice and bed comfy. Amenities you could grab at reception and bath was fine. Very clean rooms, I wore slippers and even those didn’t got dirty from walking in the room so that really is great.

Breakfast could have been better. As compared to other 5 star hotels, options in breakfast was limited. Hotel is no doubt good but, but for the money I paid for per night, I expected a better room and facilities.
