I had a lovely big room, with a huge tub. the Nantou bus stops at the end of the road and great location for all activities around Sun Moon Lake.

- as others’ have repeatedly said there is no door to the bathroom (despite easily enough space) so not ideal if travelling with someone else - had been warned by other reviews so booked 2 rooms - no hooks for towels in the bathroom so they stayed damp overnight - window into internal staircase was fine but curtain quite thin so difficult to get to sleep as quite light in the room overnight All of the above would be pretty easy for the hotel to fix so would be great if they did as then would be amazing

- Super friendly staff (also helped with booking onward taxis) - great location - spotlessly clean rooms - big room - would consider booking again given the above

No door to the bathroom. Not only unpleasant but also hard not to wake up partner when using toilet at night. If there had been a (sliding) door I could have given a 9 or even 10 for this room.

Very good location, on the road from the bus station to the pier. Friendly staff. Clean, spacious room with balcony. Good breakfast.

Very nice hotel with beautiful designed rooms, very unique. The host was very friendly and we enjoyed the breakfast. The hotel is close to the bus stop of Shuishe and it is comfortable to reach by public transport (bus 6670) from Taichung. We really recommend to visit sun moon lake and this hotel.

The only criticism is that there is no door for the toilet, which isn't great for privacy. So I wouldn't recommend if you're travelling with someone you aren't familiar with.

The room was great. It was in a good location, just a 2 minute walk from the lake. The staff were friendly. The room was spacious and clean. It had a great bathtub and they provided a bathbomb. There was also a balcony with some chairs and a table.

No laundry facilities and no door on the toilet. Still giving a high rating on this as we are well aware of it.

Location is within walking distance from the main bus stop. Close to 711, pier and shops. The owner and staff are very nice. The whole hotel was well designed and has a unique concept to it. Room and bath tub is large.

Bathroom has little to no privacy, there are roll up curtains in the shower, the toilet however is in full sight when sitting on the bed. When traveling with a friend or even with your partner it is really uncomfortable, I don't understand the idea behind this. Bathroom is big enough to make a (sliding)door or something to provide the privacy. The hotel is amazing, but this was a big downside, when improving this the rating can become a 10.

Great location nearby the harbour. Perfect place to start some long hikes or a bike tour around the lake. Rooms seems renovated not too long ago and are spacious, clean and have a nice balcony (deluxe rooms). Comfortable big beds. Big and safe public parking just in front of the hotel, parking fee is included in the hotelfee.

First off my only complain is a big deal in my opinion but everything else about this place is great. Looks great, room is comfortable, location is great. There was even a very nice bathtub. Only one issue with it. There was no door in the restroom? Imagine traveling with friends or family members (or even a significant other) and you need to go for a number 2 only there’s no door. Is it me or this is not okay? When trying to ask reception about it, I was told that’s how it’s supposed to be. I had to ask my partner to wait outside or in the balcony lol

The location is super good, very well located. The staff was nice, google translate helps a lot. The room was spacious and well organized, I loved the tea samples I received. The breakfast is a nice plate prepared by the lady at the reception, it’s simple so if you have special dietary requirements or preferences I recommend to tell her I advance. The window in my room was locked so I could not use the balcony which was a pity and the only negative side in my perspective.
