They made a really good use of such a limited space for the single room! Their single bed is surprisingly much bigger than I thought and the ensuite bathroom is super modern, and they take care to keep it spotless every day too! The staff are super friendly and they speak English well.

The basement configuration and decor is odd. The gym doesn’t feel like a gym and it’s missing a lot of basic equipments.

The room we stayed in was the smallest; bunk bed for three. However, we didn’t need the space since we spend most of our days exploring the city. The hotel itself is modern, clean, and practical. The location is one of the best in the city. A 5 min walk to MRT, 7 min walk to the night market, and the 24H massage parlor is the best just down the street.

Staff aren't always there. When I had to leave before 6 AM to catch an early flight, I had to struggle a bit. I was told to leave the key on the counter and leave. But the main door was locked. I looked around and found the side door to get out.

My room had a big window from which I could see a beautiful city view. There is a wonderful local market nearby. Location is convenient. I also liked the fragrance of their shampoo and body soap.

Great location in a lively university area, shops, restaurants and transport all near by. It's easy to explore the city from here. The room was very comfy, I especially liked the firm mattress. Good shower and everything very clean. There's also complementary coffee in the lobby during the day. Staff was always super friendly and helpful.

Bed a bit hard for me. Noise from guests in room next door talk, shower, and flush... and bet they could also hear you as well 😅

Quiet location, close to MRT, surrounded by foods and shops. Also staffs were very accommodating and polite. I chose this place cos the room had window (while most rooms in center at this price were without), and found it beyond expectation!

Room's soundproof is poor. Can hear next door laughter n loud conversation clearly in middle of the night and early morning.

Helpful and friendly staffs. Has a water dispenser outside the room. Clean toilet with no smell. Cosy room for solo travellers.

System was down so couldn’t purchase refreshments, the rooms are quite small and I dislike the lack of space for luggage/storing items. There are some hooks but with it being so small it felt cramped having to keep most items in an open suitcasese

I have to give a special mention to the bathroom amenities—the body wash, shampoo, and conditioner were truly next level! As a lovely surprise, I received free cookies upon check-in on Christmas Day—a heartwarming gesture that added a festive touch. Another major plus was the free use of laundry machines, which was a huge convenience! If you’re looking for a well-located, impeccably clean, and welcoming place to stay in Taipei, Hanns Summer is a fantastic choice. Highly recommended!

Great location and the hotel was very clean. The staff helped us and gave us lots of free toast. We had 3 different rooms for our large family group, but could spend time together in the basement lounge. I booked the triple for my partner, my daughter, and myself. It was small, but comfortable for us. The hotel is new and everything is still fresh and works well. Highly recommended!

- Staff are super friendly and knowledgeable - Very interesting concept with different spaces to chill and hangout. There’s a free coffee machine at the basement hangout area and you get free toast every morning - Room was beautiful, spacious and super clean - Location is a bit far from downtown but super near Dongguan MRT station. Also there are quite a few convenience stores and food places nearby and price is cheap (especially during morning breakfast since it’s near NTU)
