Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Hotel room different building than front desk (like next block over). Obviously prostitution is going on there (I heard it in my neighboring room, sex and then asking for money).

There were no towels in the room so we had to call them. The room was in another building so we had tk walk about 5 mins. No window in the bedroom.
Very good price and generally decent. The location is great!

Aircon is noisy, hot water in shower is unstable. Room not soundproof, can hear the noise from other room. I left/lost a t-shirt in the room, I messaged one of the staff but i think he did not understand my concern.
Room was nice. Overall experience is okay.

The reception is separate bldg with the rooms. Need to walked for 10mins. Changing of towels,btls water need to request. Which did not mention to us.

The aircon is leaking and the staff is undecided where to communicate either via line or Whatsapp. In the end, we were using this booking.com platform as well as the Line application for contact purposes
Ximending night market, malls, food/restaurants and train station are all within the area near the hotel. The hotel is also clean and affordable.

Read your messages and listen to the hotel's calls carefully: the Booking.com address is different from the actual stay's location Only 2 showers and toilets per floor, 1 toilet smelled Everyone can hear your showering and toileting business in the hall Otherwise no major complaints

- Drainage wasn’t working causing flood to the entire bathroom floor. We tried calling Helpdesk but wasn’t able to get anyone. The number indicated states “for emergency used” doesn’t seems keen in solving the issue. We waited for at least 2 hours until the receptionist came specially to solve but that has already cause us to miss our morning activities :( - place is too squeezy and too small for family nucleus. No place to hang clothes during shower. Seems more like a ONS motel :( - checkout timing is at 12pm, with every hour surcharge of NT400. No negotiations :( - noise from downstairs and opposite our room could be heard clearly. Have difficulty sleeping till late night :( - stated non-smoking policy but when the other room checkout, the entire room reeks of smoke from the 2 young chaps :( - No cancellation policy despite all the above causes. We wanted a refund for the next night but was rejected. Pls think twice about booking this premise.
- Location is at the central of XimenDing where you can find Ay Chung Flour & Noodles, J&G fried chicken, all the discounted taiwan snacks and Xinfutang bubble tea. - very helpful and friendly young receptionist

Some of the bathroom furnishings need maintenance. The shower's glass divider was squeaky. Still, the place is really good anyway.
The room was large and comfortable. There's enough space to comfortably place your luggage and move around. The location is excellent since there's a Starbucks and 7eleven right outside of you stay in their main property.

When i went to check in, they took me to a completely different place down the street. My room had cockroaches. There was no window. no fire suppression system, and I would doubt that the alarm system is actually functioning it's not maintained. I can't believe that booking.com continues to list this place. It's a significant hazard. There was never any staff at the front desk, not once did I ever see a single employee after I checked in. The room was never cleaned after I checked in.
