The hotel staff installed an air dryer without me asking for it. This was the perfect welcome for me and my soaked clothes after a long rainy day outside. Thank you very much!

There is only 1 mirror, which is in the bathroom. We hope to have another mirror to dress outside bathroom.

Easy to find. Quite location. It’s worth the money. Good facility. We love the balcony, it’s really good!

The bathroom abit dirty for me( The curtains in the toilet are moldy and make me feel uncomfortable). Our trip was to Taroko and Dongdamen Night Market, and we passed through a large cemetery. It also made me feel uncomfortable late at night. The Location abit far from town.

They provide the free food and water, the environment is good. The housekeeper is very helpful

The bathroom is a little wet for there is only a shower curtain. With the strong water pressure, water is splashed all over the bathroom floor.

This place is about 15 minutes of walk from XinCheng Train Station. Other than this place does not provide breakfast everything else is great for the money. The room is pretty sizeable with very tall ceiling. The A/C is very quiet and the air is very comfortable for sleeping. Two large windows can be opened to let fresh air in. The hot shower has strong water pressure. The snack bar has cookies and instant noodle for FREE. They provide free water, free coffee, free toothbrush, etc. etc. They really have you covered. This place is only 5 minutes walk to the ocean/beach. Very quiet at night. Five minutes walk to the old town where you can find a few restaurants. You should also go to the roof of the building to watch the sunrise if weather permits. This is probably the tallest building in this whole neighborhood and it got really nice view to the east (Pacific Ocean) and west (the mountains). There is a bus stop literally at the front door where you can take #1129 to the Taroko National Park Visitor Center. To see the bus schedule, just zoom in on the Google Maps till you see the bus stop icon and click on it. Both buses #1129 & #1133 would take you to the visitor center. We took the 8:30 AM #1129 which took about 15-20 minutes to reach the visitor center for about a dollar for the bus fare. Overall, I would recommend this place to anyone who is interested to visit Taroko National Park.

    Nothing

Location is great, walkable from Xincheng train station and also short walk to Manbo beach. Take bus to Taroko just outside the building. Not far from old town area with some restaurants and local shops- sleepy town but very peaceful surrounding by mountains and sea. Our room on top floor with great view of mountains and can see the sea from side balcony- what a special spot! Facilities, beyond expectations - this homestay provide all travellers need both in the room and common area on ground floor with free snack, coffee machine for a fresh coffee, microwave, drinking water machine .. etc In the room has kettle & mini fridge as well - so it perfect to stay a couple day to explore Taroko in slow pace.. we wish we could stay longer The host, Alan is very nice, good English speaking, promptly reply to any questions you have. Overall this is the best value and best choice we have stayed in Taiwan this 10 days trip.

There are no parking spaces for our car. However, it's easy to leave your car on street sides. So the only thing that I hate to do is to leave the place!

This is a quiet little town at night. You will find peace here in the early morning walk along the seaside or around the main street. Though Memories Hotel does not serve breakfast, you will not be hungry at any time. There is a free snack bar in the dining room, and there are some great food stands in town, too.
