Clean, comfortable, nice view with the room we booked, free breakfast and lots of cats at the property if you are a cat person.

Xtreme Homestay was a lovely place to stay, however, it was not what I had expected to pay for. We booked two rooms and both rooms were different in terms of layout. The balcony was overlooking the ocean and at night it had a cooler breeze. Honestly, everything wrong is made up by the helpful staff who had helped us with all the things we needed. They even offered to change rooms for us but honestly all rooms felt like it would have similar issues (mainly heat and air-conditioning.) They have free coffee and snacks for guests and the location has good restaurants and a 7-11 nearby as well as there is a snorkeling gear renting place next door.

The room where my husband and I stayed the main door opened into the bathroom and you can't really enter the room without going to the bathroom and that was really annoying. The rooms didn't have any closet space. FYI, sea view rooms are west facing and can get very hot as the day goes by and even air conditioning can't cool the rooms enough unless we close all blinds. The bathtub is in the balcony but can't use it in the daytime due to heat (maybe its good for winter time). As usual in Taiwan, free breakfast is very vague. Here they give you set meal box with a half club sandwich, fries and nuggets, along with fruits. Its a fixed option and you just take what they provide. It wasn't bad for free breakfast but could be better. I would have not cared for the negatives but I took my father-in-law (who is visiting from US) with high expectations and I feel I could have done better.

Toilet not completely separate

The location is good, which is at the center of the island and higher up. Not in the main road, so it's quiet. The view and design of the hotel are super good. The staff are nice and friendly. The big living room and dining area in the ground floor are luxury to have. It's good idea to provide the slipper for the guest to change after entering the guest room floors. I like the design of the washroom and bath tub area. Stylish and modern.

The mattress is too soft for me. The layout of room(7) at the end is a bit odd, irregular. so the space of the balcony is small. Seeing their effort to improve liked the balcony is around the corner of the building and making the 'corner' table top in the corner of the room and putting the refrigerator there, although it's a bit dark in that corner. then the room looks regular.

It is a okay accommodation. The property is clean and provided basic services.

The property has limited flexibility. It required cash only. There is not kettle in the room. It was only located on the ground floor. It took me a few times running up and down to make coffee and refilled water.

Wish hotel offered more information prior to our arrival that there is no way to get to the hotel without pre-arranging the bike rental.

Excellent ! Room is so clean and comfortable. Staff is friendly. Breakfast is also tasty. Nice drip coffee ☕️. Bath in balcony with gentle sea wind is fantastic

Great view and plentiful of cute cats around ! Breakfast is included however if you don’t want to have their breakfast they’ll give you a 100NTD refund (I only ate the breakfast my first day and opted out the second day). There’s lots of restaurants around. Also it’s quite a distance from the wharf and if you can’t ride a scooter, then you’ll have to borrow an electric bike (A-Wei Electric Bike rental). The shop owner was really nice and transported my suitcase to the hotel and then to the wharf when leaving (so don’t be afraid to book this place because of the location !) Finally there is no elevator so do keep that in mind if you’re travelling with larger suitcases. Otherwise I enjoyed my stay and would stay again.

The whole feeling is cold, the staff told a lot of rules, and the rule were good, but not everyone obeyed and no one managed that, so it is a very bad feeling for the one obey the rules. and sound insulation is very very bad.
