Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty

- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

I would not pick this area again if visiting Taipei as not many restaurants and shops around.
Room had everything we need. It was clean and good water pressure in shower. Comfortable beds. Coffee shop at the hotel. Close to night market but not much else.

The family rooms is comfortable, there's seperate for bedroom with bathrooms area. Bed is comfortable. Location is nearby Shilin night market & MRT, need to walk about 8-10 minutes.

I stayed in a 3-person room. The room has an open sink which is next to bed. The open sink design makes the room appears to be bigger but it is bad for multiple person room since when one person is using the sink it would bother other people who are sleeping or resting since the since is literally next to the beds.

On a busier road so walking there from the metro wasn’t the most pleasant.
Clean, modern, comfortable, and convenient. The atm worked in the lobby and there was a cafe attached. Right next to Shillin Night Market!

Public onsen was only available for female as of now
Strategic location that is 5 mins walk away from Shilin night market. Lots of bike available around the hotel proximity for cycling option

Dislike the issues I faced when they tried to pre-authorize my card before my stay with red messages popping out in Booking.com terrifying me of losing my stay etc... contacted them via Booking messages... Was asked to confirm my booking.com name was the same as the name on my card etc which I found unnecessarily as not many ppl would use their exact passport name on booking sites. Long story cut short, they took payment off my card, held it for a month and then returned to my card. Then a few days later saw the red messages again and had to contact the hotel again to confirm my booking with them. After we had checked in, we asked for toothbrushes etc, and one of the lady receptionists gave us a rather unacceptable rude response and gave us what we wanted. Sorry that we disturbed U in whatever U were doing which was just standing there. The station is 7-10 mins walk from the hotel. Some waiting time on the lifts. Despite these, I would still come back and stay here when I visit Taiwan again.
Clean and comfortable stay. You would be able to shop online and have parcels delivered to the hotel. The reception would take in the parcels during Ur stay at the hotel. Daily cleaning of the room along with nice tea and coffee being provided on a daily basis. A bit further from the center but I enjoyed the quietness when asleep. The Shilin night market is only 5 mins walk from the hotel, a sports center right opposite too which my partner took advantage of when she had enough of shopping/ sightseeing / the rains and played badminton there.

counter service is extremely helpful. But not the service staff, especially their female staff, is very annoying and not observer that ppl is having the meeting. She still went ahead to dragging the level 2 chairs and made so much noise. Despite this, i reminded her to be gentle and lower the noise. She ignored me. Room 1610 bedroom bed light position is very strange. How do we avoid not hitting our heads when we sleep ?
Counter service is extremely helpful. The room was cleared and comfortable.

- Rooms are smaller than we thought. - They are very strict about check-out times and are not shy to inform you that you will pay for the full hour if you miss the check-out time by a few minutes. However, when you get to the elevator, inside there's a note saying that the elevators (only 2) are very busy close to that time, in essence making you check out almost an hour in advance due to their inflexibility, which doesn't make any sense to me, especially if they are aware of busy times and organized trips of 40/50 people were common during our stay. - Something else we didn't like was the fact that the staff at the reception didn't inform us about the facilities at all, just reminded us that we didn't have breakfast included in a very blunt way and that was it. - It would have been good to know as well, that my boyfriend, being a male, is paying for a jacuzzi that, for the time being, can only be used by women. If that is the case then male guests should have an adjustment in price/have a breakfast voucher or something like that, otherwise it seems very unfair to me.
Brand new hotel, really clean and with nice amenities.
