Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

CanadaRooms close to the elevator entrance can be loud because of other guests - but that’s not really the fault of the hotel.
Doesn’t look like much from the outside but the rooms were comfortable and clean and the place was quiet enough for a decent sleep.

SingaporeNot their fault but the hotel is basically the 2nd and 7th floor of an old building that's got many companies. Means they can't control if the other levels are noisy or having an office party. They also can't control if the building entrance or lift isn't clean.
Staff were amazing and friendly, although mandarin is preferred. When we had noise issues in our first room they offered to switch us immediately to another room even though it was almost midnight. Next morning we realised the room was a bit dirty and had a slight smell of smoke (hotel has a smoking room but I think some guests sneak a cigarette in their room) and again they moved us immediately to another room. We were there during a typhoon and the snack room and instant noodles came in handy since nothing was open. Washer and dryer also came in handy since e had just come down from hiking in the mountains!

United Arab EmiratesAs the building is shared, expect some time to wait for the lifts going up and down. I wanted to use the gym too but there was only a treadmill and no space to roll out a yoga mat.
Location was great, although you might be surprised to see it from outside as the hotel is part of a residential building which looks pretty run-down BUT the hotel and the rooms aren't. We had the family room, it was clean with adequate space. The cafeteria offers a generous range of snacks and drinks to be consumed at your leisure, which I find it very thoughtful! Location is perfect, walking distance to train stations and many other spots like Ningxia Market, Dihua Street etc

United KingdomThe area outside was a bit run down and messy. There is a club next door. There was only one lift to go up to the hotel which was shared but the rest of the tower block.
Our Quadruple room was larger than expected - great for our family of 5. The free snack bar had a decent selection for light breakfast and snacks. The free detergent provided was a bonus for the laundry room. Lots of convenient shops right outside. Thank you to all the front desk staff - they were all friendly and kind.

SpainAgain, I felt that I reached a luxurious room in - the downtown atomosphere? A little Chaotic. But I believe that is all about Taiwan. Charming chaos.
The entire building is not the hotel. Other facilities and shops occupy other floors, and the geography was slightly confusing. The staff was nice. The room was rather chic and fashionable.

AustraliaIt was a bit loud outside in the hallways late at night, with people talking or walking around with things. Probably okay if you are not a light sleeper.
Comfortable room. Smooth check in. Free breakfast was good. Free snacks and soft drinks/tea/coffee all day in the common cafeteria area. 10-15 minute walk from the nearest train stations. Free laundry and dryer use. Also gave us little pineapple cakes and some drinks in the room to celebrate New Years, which was a nice touch.

TaiwanThe room was a bit smelly. I guess there is a club in the same building, because you can hear some techno music playing until 3am. My Taiwanese friends told me the area is supposed to be a bit dangerous, but I didn't have any troubles.
The room is spacious and clean, the staff is very friendly and helpful. They also provide a mini buffet with snacks and drinks.

AustraliaThere was a bit of noise internally from the hallways, and a lot of road noise from the street (but noting the excellent central location this was to be expected).
