GermanyClean look! Loved the fish in the pond at the entrance! I got a room update, which made me very happy! Sadly the room itself was quite Hindu, which made drying cloth impossible, but I was able to use a little room next door to hang my cloth and the staff gave me a dehumidifier with me even asking! That was very nice! Oh an the shower took a very long time to heat up, but got there eventually. Generally great communication over what's app during the stay and amazing work with translating app in person! I would stay again!

GermanyOnly the kitchen facilities could be better, but there is great food around
I loved the privacy that the facilities offered and the comfortable bed, cleanliness was exceptional and the location is an easy walk from the train station and food court/market. Ruifang is the perfect location to visit Keelung, Jiufen and Pingxi Train line, without the hassle of all the tourists.

TaiwanI think the layout is a bit weird. And we had a two double beds in our room. However, the room can be a bit noisy because the guests who use the lounge space can be a bit too loud. So there should be a rule for communal area that the guests should keep their voice down between 12am and 8am.
The staff was very nice, helpful and friendly. He talked with us and even gave us a towel for going swimming.

United KingdomExtremely small room with little to no ventilation. Poor sound insulation. We could hear people entering and leaving rooms throughout the night. Strange smell from the bathroom. Gap behind the beds which we were given a pillow to put in... All in all, pretty poor accommodation for the price.
The location is quite central.

United StatesThe owners /managers are really nice so it’s hard for me to write this but I really had an awful experience. My room smelled of a mix of something I can only describe as an overwhelming combination of mothballs and nail polish remover… and it was strong - soooo strong. The managers apologized and said that it was some sort of sanitizer they had used and the only solution was to keep the window open. this did nothing. had to sleep with the room door open along with the bathroom vent (and light) and the A/c on. then of course the room started to smell of the stinky tofu coming in from the stand next door just outside the front door … it was awful. The painfully noxious and pungent mix of odors was absolutely sickening. got zero sleep and had to catch a flight the next day so it was all the worse for this. I’d obviously never stay there again. the odors were so bad my clothes still smelled of it the next day. and while the owners were sweet I can’t In good conscious recommend this place to anyone. My cousin and his girlfriend, who were traveling with me but staying at an airbnb nearby, stopped by my place and can attest to all this. had it not been so late, and had they had any spare room at all, I would have tried staying with them or elsewhere…
location was ok, if not for the stinky tofu stand in front next door. It’s essentially a quaint coffee shop.
