The place is beautiful, it's close to the old street, and it was such a comfortable stay. The staff is very nice as well.

The signs that lead to the BnB are only in Chinese, which makes them hard to spot if you can't read the language.

The sofa in the room was quite uncomfortable. The room had a bit of a damp smell, but there was a dehumidifier provided.

Great location a short walk from the old street. Sandwich and coffee provided for breakfast which was a nice touch. The bed was extremely comfortable - we slept great. Parking provided a short walk away.

Climbing stairs with luggage was hard in the heat but that’s given with this town. Our room had constant semi-loud pops/cracking sounds coming from upstairs or from parts of the walls. The door to the bathroom was also very loud, needs some oil on the hinges.

Beautiful views and spacious room with balcony. AC was strong. We appreciate the simple free breakfast. The cats on the premises were very sweet. Easy check in process, rooms were ready at earlier time. Free water bottles in the room were very much appreciated.

The room with glass ceiling was very bright and spacious, considering the location. I particularly enjoyed the breakfast and having a parking spot right above the B&B. There are some flights of stairs to get to the Old Street, but not as many as I expected and can be covered in 5 minutes at most.

Breakfast was minimal, a small very simple sandwich w/ tea, coffee or milk. Bathroom is a little small.

Large room with a beautiful view. Staff was nice but didn't speak much English. Having the 2nd bed on the loft (rather than in the same room) was nice.

The bed mattress was a bit hard. The shower water didn’t evacuate well.

Amazing view, but we were unlucky with rainy and cloudy weather. Room was quite newly refurbished and it was clean. We receive a nice welcome from our hosts.

Great B&B with fantastic views over the village, the ocean and coastline. Friendly owners and cute cats. Very close to Jiufen Old Street and a good starting point for hikes around the region. Beds are on the harder side though, but wasn't a problem for us.

The climb uphill could be challenging. It takes less than 10 minutes to reach the accommodation from Jiufen old street but the hike is steep. The bedding could be replaced. The pillows were starting to go flat and smell.

Our room overlooked Jiufen. The property has a number of cute outdoor cats who work hard to welcome guests.

It was hard to find the parking place I think maybe the place should keep the location and post it on the booking as well.... the streets are very hard to navigate in there and it was hard to find it with the instructions that were given to us

The room we had was great - the days we stayed in Jiufen we had rainy weather and the glass ceiling living room was really cozy (and warm thanks to a double AC)! The bed is comfortable and the bathroom, although small, was clean. There is a parking area quite close, where we left our car, but bear in mind walking in Jiufen always means steep roads so travelling light is advised.

Google maps point us to go up a much more challenging street so we had a bit of excitement getting to the parking area. Figured out later there was an easier way. You should go past the 7-11, past the big main parking lot on the right, keep going for 300 meters until you see Rock sign then turn right.

The rooms we had with balcony had a great view and it was lovely to have a tea set with very nice tea in the room. The comforter and pillows were top notch and the bed was firm but comfortable. Location is great - only 3 minutes to old street via steps. One room even had a shoe dryer! The family that runs it are really nice and the great grandfather just likes to hang out in his chair and it is nice to see a family business run well!

the ham and cheese sandwich was yummy. so is the soya bean drink. The rooms are clean, have reliable hot water, and a good view of the sea and the rest of town. the owners are friendly and ready to give advice.

Nice house top of the city, 100 meters from the main street. Difficult to find by car, and to park nearby... but feasible. Room and breakfast (free) OK.
