Was a bit hard to find at first - use the green address signs on buildings to find the right alley.

On the farther end of Jiufen, in the quieter area. King bed is super comfortable. Very new and clean. Owner is super friendly and chatty, he gave us some great pointers.

Very clean. Comfortable bed. Quiet location, although minutes from the famousJishan Street. It was our host who made our stay. He went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and comfortable, even covering our luggage with plastic for us when it rained heavily.

Everything was excellent. The host has to be the best in town,so helpful with advice,organising taxis,early breakfast,very personable. Location was superb,quiet end of the old street. 2min walk to restaurants and old street. Unfortunately we needed heating and hot shower due to the weather and thankfully the room facilities are excellent. Great value for money,super friendly.

The beds were a little harder than we are used to. But everything else made up for that.

Our host was amazing. He helped us navigate to the closet stop for an Uber drop and then ran out to meet us with umbrellas and help us get our luggage in. It was pouring rain for the whole two days we visited and he let us borrow umbrellas and gave us tips on what to do. Super helpful and friendly. He showed our children his bunnies and turtle, which was so sweet. The room was great! Everything we needed and very clean. There was a cute little loft with you for the kids which was a cute surprise. He left breakfast outside the room and made everything so easy. It was a short walk to the Jiufen old street. Maybe ten minutes walk to the famous amei tea house. I would definitely recommend this spot for a scenic, homey get away.

Homestay was very comfortable (especially the bed), room is clean (like brand new). Location wise, much further from other homestays in the Jiufen area, but it also means that it is more peaceful and calm in the area. Owner is enthusiastic and kind. Breakfast was packed for us with soy bean and sandwich bread - delicious!

Everything was great, nothing to complain.

Everything was perfect. The location is very good, right at the top of Jishan street, where it is pretty quiet, but you can reach everything you need in Jiufen by only walking a couple of minutes. The room is spacious, has everything you need and a smart toilet as well as AC and a dehumidifier. Bed was very comfortable as well. The host is great! He welcomed me personally and told me a lot about Jiufen and the area and gave me recommendations for food as well as small trips. The price is reasonable, you really can't ask for anything more. There is also a breakfast included which the host places in front of your room door in the morning and you can collect and enjoy whenever you want, which was also very much appreciated. Great host and great place to enjoy Jiufen and the Pingxi area!

The warm hospitality of the host. We deeply appreciated the tips and tricks to navigate the old streets and to get the best view of the area (we were quite lucky to experience jiufen with clear skies at sunset). Mr Fang also introduced us to his rabbits and a few resident cats, the whole experience was just superb!

Location is quiet, away from the busy area. Lovely place to stroll around and enjoy the spectacular views. The host is very friendly, helpful and informative. He gave detailed information on how to tour the old street and recommended some Must-Try food in Jiufen. We arrived the property by a cab, alighted very close to the property. It would be more convenient to go to the property by cab to avoid lugging big suitcases through the bustling old street. The property is situated at the end of the street.

It’s a decent property located a bit far from the old street. It’s walking distance from many spots to see in Jiufen. The host and their hospitality really warmed my heart. They took extra care of me and allowed me for a bit late check out since I was travelling solo. The host was really kind and came to pick me up as well, and arranged my transport for way back. If I ever visit Jiufen, will definitely stay here again.

As there are so many alleyways in Jiufen it would be helpful to have a sign/more detailed map, but the very kind host was looking out for me so not a big drama

The host was very friendly and helpful as he introduced nearby attractions to us. We were allowed to check in earlier due to the typhoon. We had hearty breakfast (sandwich, fruits and milk tea) too. Location was a bit far but it was peaceful with beautiful scenery as it was close to Songde Park.

The host was very professional and introduced a lot of attractions. We arrived a bit late and did not set up an exact time for meeting up (I just told him we were in a taxi heading towards the spot), but he showed up at the meet-up spot right when we got off the taxi, which made locating the house smooth. The rooms were in excellent conditions, and it was very quiet because no one was occupying the other side that night. The breakfast was okay. Might instead try to waive it and buy some local food ourselves too next time. Would definitely consider this again next time I visit Jiufen! One thing to note is that you need to lock all rooms (including the ones to the balcony) when you leave. We did not realize the balcony was connected to the back street and forgot to lock it. Fortunately it went fine.
