Host does everything they can to make the stay memorable. Made me feel what it’s like to have a family in Taiwan. note: Just like any other B&B in this area, there are lots of stairs. Not possible for someone with severe disabilities.

Hosts were so welcoming. Can be difficult to find so spoke with our driver and came to meet us and walked with us. Comfortable room for the night. Provided umbrellas for the expected rain and organised breakfast for us which was very appreciated.

Excellent place to stay a night or two in Jiufen. The property itself is very easy to find, being only a two minute walk from the old street with clear signage leading you to the building. I was fortunate to have nice weather during my stay, and there was a wonderful view of Mount Keelung each time I stepped out of the front door. The facilities and room itself are very well maintained and clean, and have all the small amenities you could need. The bed is comfortable, and the Taiwanese sandwich they serve for breakfast is simple and tasty. The staff here is what made my visit exceptional. The owner and housekeeper are two of the friendliest people I've met during all my travels so far. They went out of their way when I arrived, and each morning, to help me with my itinerary - how to get to each local hike and surrounding villages, what buses and trains to take, where to eat, etc. They also offered me fresh local fruit to try. Very kind people. Thank you both for the great stay!

I literally liked everything.

Amazing host with outstanding kindness, room is the best I ever had, like a cosy nest where all details are perfected. And well by rain or sunny day, Jiufen is a paradise. I will definitely come back.

The room was exceptionally clean and the hosts were very kind! They welcomed me warmly and gave me their recommendations for what to do in Jiufen. Even got a simple but delicious breakfast. This is a great place to stay to experience Jiufen without the crowds.

Great hosts. Spotless and very comfortable room with a touch of preserved history. You could tell that they had put a great deal of thought and care into their facility. It was very stormy the morning we left and we had neglected to didn't bring any umbrellas with us for this trip as we didn't expect the bad weather. When we checked out and left to walk into the pouring rain, the owner gave us disposable rain ponchos which was so thoughtful and turned out to be a lifesaver. Lovely place with lovely hosts. Would love to stay there again.

The hosts are charming and very caring. They live just next door, but the rooms are independent. They posted a short video on Youtube to guide the travelers through the small streets of Jiufen up to the Home stay. That video was extremely helpful, and it was kind of fun to follow. The room was large, comfortable and clean. It was fully equipped, including an European to Taiwan electric plug adapter.

When I got around the unit, I noticed used socks on the floor. Probably owned by previous tenants. Other than that, it’s good value for money.

I liked that the place was a couple of steps from the main district of Jiufen. The couple that greeted us were extra friendly and were able to guide us to visiting the correct tea places, perfect photo sites, etc.

We loved the traditional room style, the perfect cleanliness and most of all the kindness of the hosts who were so kind and welcoming. They really care about you having a good stay and go out of their way to provide you with information. The bed is very comfortable and the morning sandwich very nice. Highly recommended in Juifen!

Although I didn't have much time to explore the area, this was by far the best place I've ever stayed. The Stay is located very near to Jiufen Old Street but in a quite and cozy area. The owners are extremely nice and make lots of great suggestions for things to do in and around Jiufen. They also helped me book a night tour of Jiufen. The breakfast was delicious and I got fresh taiwanese fruits every day. I really felt taken care of! Thank you for this wonderful time!

Qu Hi Home Stay is a wonderful little property run by the sweetest couple. We loved our two-night stay and wouldn’t hesitate to come back. The location is great and easy to find, situated a little up the hill from Jiufen Old Street. To get the best experience of Jiufen, you really must spend the night to see it after all the day-trippers have left. The hosts here will warmly welcome you and do their absolute best to make sure you have a nice stay.
