The bathroom setup isn't great because the door doesn't seal all the way and it's all glass with curtains to close to obstruct the view. But everything else more than makes up for it!

This place is absolutely amazing, the view from both the room and roof are breathtaking. Don't even think about it, just book in.

Minor things: we would have appreciated a permanently staffed front desk (we needed to look for staff in the building a few times), some savoury options at the breakfast bar and more shelving in the room to store clothes.

Honestly, this was one of the best homestays we have ever stayed in. The room was perfect! The bed was probably one of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in. The location and view were amazing and the host was so helpful and kind! We will definitely be back!

I wish that fresh breakfast options such as fruit and yoghurts were offered. The only foods included were processed, packaged snacks.

I would highly recommend this guesthouse and would definitely stay here again! The room was spacious, tastefully decorated, and had the most stunning view. The bathroom was truly beautiful, and it included thoughtful extra touches such as bath bombs and facemasks. It is in a quiet location but within easy walking distance of the main sites.

All staff at Something Easy Inn were extremely helpful and accommodating. They made sure we had everything we needed and they helped us arrange transportation as well. My family and I stayed at three different types of rooms at this hostel and the view in each room was amazing. Highly recommend this place to stay if you visit Jiufen.

Bit difficult to find a breakfast place or dinner. Only limited options in this city in the morning or evening. It gets empty and then there is nothing to do.

The bed was too soft for us and it would be nice if they could provide the facial masks according to the number of guests.

The view from the room was superb. The location was not easy to find, but they had friendly staff who would tell you where to drop off if taking cab / public transport. The staff Xiao Yan made the effort to come and fetch me from the suggested drop off location and helped me with my luggage. After reaching the place, she patiently explained about the facilities and asked me to text her should there be any issues. Additionally, she also offered to help us book a cab for check out due to the location. The cab fare was slightly higher but it was convenient for us. During the check out, Xiao Yan assigned someone to bring us to the cab location and helped us with the luggage as well.

The host was so nice and friendly. Stayed here one night with my boyfriend and the view of the room was fantastic. Soft bed nice and clean. Free drinks and snacks 24 hrs.

A bit of a trek to reach unless you can convince a taxi to drop you at the school (the road is very narrow and some won't do it). I came on a Sunday and it took forever to mob through the packed old street with my luggage in tow. Do not recommend that... The only other minor thing was that the building seemed to have a strange old smell that lingered on all my clothing after I left.

The only issue I can find is that the shower head had seized and therefore you could only one the spray nozzle, not the overhead shower.

The location is excellent, literally meters from the old street. The view is exactly like the pictures and is outstanding. The also have a range of complimentary snacks

A large, modern hillside room with stunning mountain and sea views. Friendly staff to assist with check-in and lots of free drinks and snacks available to guests. Excellent location near the top of the old street. A perfect place to stay!

A little difficult to get to. An overnight bag is definitely the way to go. Would be ideal if breakfast can be served, but they made up with well stocked pantry.

For a cold rainy night, we didn’t feel cold at all in the rooms. There’s heating even in the bathroom!
