You could hear other people talk in other rooms, a little bit of noise, passersby could look into multiple of the rooms, booked sea view room but this was largely obstructed by trees and buildings, not many amenities e.g. no water, in rooms (many of our other hotels provided this).

Good price for value, within walking distance to sights like Amei teahouse, friendly staff, large room, large bed, good air conditioning, iron/industrial theme

The bathroom glasses (no privacy when curtains are up). It would be way better if the glasses can only see through from the inside and not from the outside for privacy reasons.

Host provided an excellent hospitality and attentive to our needs.

There isn’t parking or clear instructions for drop off available. We had light luggage so it wasn’t so bad going up the stairs

The location is away from the busy street. It’s 2 min away from the crowded area. The staff was friendly and helpful

The location is a little further out but it was worth it for the views I woke up to. That was the reason I booked this hotel. You can venture at night and early morning before it gets crowded. I only took an overnight bag but you definitely will struggle with large suitcases. Bed was comfy and my room had everything I needed. Staff were really lovely and very helpful.

Downsides to the accomodation was the bathroom layout. To access the toilet you have to walk through the shower area. It’s not made clear when booking that you are not permitted to flush anything down the toilet. A hose is provided but very impractical to use. There was also an odour if damp in the bathroom as a result of it being a wet area. The mattress on our bed also needed an upgrade. It seemed old and very soft.

Location of the property was good, and located away from Juifen’s bustling old street. It was modern, main area was clean and had some great views looking down the mountain.

Staff were so kind and helpful, we got soaked in the rain and they helped us to dry our shoes. The rooms were really beautiful and cosy too, with stunning ocean views. It was slightly out of the main town, which was perfect for us, and only a 5 minute walk into the main area.

Amazing location right at the end of Juifen Old Street. The building had a very cozy feel and the amenities were great. Free tea, coffee, and snacks were always available. It was a wonderful stay.

Whether you come by public transport or drive there, the bus stop or parking lot is a bit of a distance from the hotel, and the walk can be tiring, especially with luggage

It is tucked in a corner of the busy streets, getting there requires some effort and strength. Luggage is no-no; advise backpacking.

We had a great stay, the staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was super spacious with a view. Ot looks just like the photos, everything is new and the interior design is great. The inn is located on the Jiufen Old Street, just 3 min by walk from all the restaurants and stalls. I recommend it 100%!
