The bathroom could use a shower curtain & a bit more privacy for the toilet (it only has a curtain, no proper door) but we knew this before booking so wasn’t an issue

Amazing view, really as good as in the pictures. Very spacious, light. Well equipped with everything you need (aircon, fan, fridge). Very cool style and architecture. Good breakfast. Comfy bed.

The TV was positioned a little weird (not in center of the TV or bed). Also no Netflix, but it's more of a romantic getaway.

Staff was nice and can't beat the view! I loved the bathroom setup; very niche and cute. The room was very spacious and well-equipped with amenities.

The room is spacious and comfortable and has a stunning view. Parking was easy and breakfast was great. Old Street is also ~10min walk away (uphill).

This was one of my favourite stays for our whole trip in Taiwan. The views from our balcony and living area were unbelievable. The breakfast the next morning was delicious and while the staff had limited english it didn't matter - they provided ample maps and communications to guide us throughout Jiufen on our stay, they went above and beyond.

Amazing Hotel with perfect Location. We booked the Deluxe Room with Seaview and it was absolutely amazing, a lot of space in the room and the Balcony with Seaview was a total Highlight. The owner of the Hotel was very friendly and always here for help. Upon arrival we ordered breakfast for the next morning (150NTD extra Charge) was totally worth it. It was very Delicious.

The host could have been a bit more helpful with the info on the tourist attractions. She should have info on the bus services and times and opening hours of the museums in the area etc given that not many people speak good English and hardly any of the bus drivers.

The room was excellent, big, a lot of light and a magnificent view. The room was clean.

They are really strict on the check-in time so if you are early, do expect a flustered dismissive service. If you are travelling with your older folks, do note that the series of stairs do have railings staggered throughout except some locations. Would recommend that if you have a big luggage to deposit at ruifang station. Do approach the visitors' centre booth for the location on where to deposit and do not deposit them in the station lockers.

The view was amazing (even from the toilet). Very spacious and clean. Breakfast was good with amazing views towards the sea too. Their dogs are really cute as well

The instructions for the parking could be a little clearer

The room was very nicely decorated, clean and comfortable. We had a small table and chairs outside the room to relax with a great view. Short walking distance from center of jiufen. Would 100% recommend.

Better sign posting for directions down the long stairs/path to the venue. They were laying concrete outside our room to extend the hotel. Noisy, even on Sunday. And we had to climb over concrete reinforcing reo metal bars to get to our room. While it has a bath, it's fairly small - doesn't inspire a long relax. And the plug leaked (fortunately I carry a spare). It's almost a ladder to reach the loft bedroom. Be fit!

We booked the room with the view from the bathroom and lounge. Yupp, great views! The quirky architecture is fun, although the bathroom floor with small boulders embedded in it required care to avoid stubbed toes or a slip. Be sure to turn on the light at night!
