Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

SingaporeThere was an open socket for the hair dryer just beside the sink and shower, which doesn't seem very safe. The disposable bath towels provided aren't useful, I had to buy my own towel. There isn't any floor mat to dry your feet when exiting the toilet. The toilet doesn't have proper air circulation so there is often a musty smell. The aircon and fridge can get quite loud while running. The rooms are on the second floor onwards and there is no elevator. The room was more run down than shown in the booking profile.
Great location for the price, within walking distance from the train station. There are also several nice restaurants just below the rooms. The housekeeper was very friendly and helpful. Table, chair, kettle and a mini fridge are provided. Shower water pressure was strong and hot water was consistent. The bed was clean and comfortable. There is also a window blind to block out the morning sunlight. The bedsheets made me itchy during my first night but the housekeeper was quick to change them when I asked. I had no problem after that. Upon reaching the place, I was able to check in earlier after calling the owner. They don't speak English so translation apps were needed. No counter staff, just a door code required to enter the building.

GermanyThe neighboorhood is very loud, we could here the noises from the busy street at all times. Also there was a constant flow of cold air coming in through the walls/windows in chilly winter outside temperatures. (We already switched off the AC; its heating function did not work.) The mattress was too soft for our liking and seemed old (with a softer valley towards the middle of the mattress). The room only had one chair (not two) and too little hangers (only two). We didn't like the fact that the towels provided were all disposable. That seems like unnecessary polution to us.
The room was spacious (bigger than the 8m^2 advertised). The location is central and in walking distance to the train and bus station. Just 1 minute walk in the main street is a super yummy breakfast restaurant where everything is homemade, highly recommended! (breakfast in front of 萬成煤氣行)

CanadaWalls need repainting. Didn’t have normal towels. Had synthetic, paper-thin sheets instead. Shower tiles grouting needs redoing. 2 coat hangers and a tiny closet.
Close to train station and places to eat. Had a fridge, kettle and a desk. Very nice and accommodating staff. We were able to store outer luggage before check-in and after check-out.

SingaporeIt was very disappointing. The conditions of the room were bad; the tiles were extremely dirty, aircon was noisy and the door latch wasn't working properly. The wifi was not working at level 2 and even at level 3, the wifi was weak :(
Nothing at all.
