The hotel is a bit outdated for european standarts, but the room was spacious and clean so I did not mind. Staff was very helpful.

This hotel absolutely exceeded our expectations. Great location close to train station and across the street from amazing Thai restaurant... go there .. Lemongrass Kitchen.. Great food... speak English. The restaurant was recommend by hotel staff and the staff also found a good secure place to store our bicycles. Had some seets in the room when we got there, coffee, tea plus amazing bathroom with shower and jacuzzi tub. Nice linen. Big room. Great breakfast with friendly breakfast staff! Also we're there during a few 6.1 earthquakes and the building felt rock solid!

    Nothing... all good.

Comfortable queen beds with a good number of pillows. The staff were very helpful and organised a cooked and packed breakfast for our early morning tour. Good location within walking distance of main attractions. Good laundry facilities at minimal cost.

-Location was maybe the best part of this hotel. It is central along one of the main streets, yet just enough off it to be quiet and peaceful. Train station is within walking distance and so are any number of restaurants. -My room surprised me positively. It was spacious and better than I expected in this price range. Very good value for price. -Breakfast had many hearty Chinese options. -I made use of the free bikes. But they don't let you use them after 6pm (a bit unclear to me why), so you can't go to the night market with one. You have to walk half an hour, get a taxi or figure out the bus lines. -I found it quiet, unlike some other commentators.

-English speakers were hard to come by among staff. However they were friendly and I always got myself understood. This hotel gets mostly Taiwanese / Chinese guests which can also be seen in their breakfast selection if that is important to you.

The staff was generally very kind and friendly, even if their English was not that great. The room was very nice, it was clean and had a large comfortable bed. The bathroom was small but clean. There was also a little snack left in the room when we arrived. There are some parking spots reserved for the hotel which is handy. For breakfast, there were many options, with abundant vegetarian dishes, and it was nice that there were English labels for the food. During breakfast we talked with one of the staff members, Alina Fu, who was very kind and helpful to us. Her English was very good, which made it so she could help us communicate over the phone with our car rental company. She also gave us recommendations where to go and gifted us some food for our long car trip when we left. It was also very helpful to talk with her about our experiences with the heavy earthquake that had happened.

During the heavy earthquake we experienced, we were unsure what to do, and the staff present at the time did not give us much helpful advice.

The breakfast buffet was fantastic! Very fun. Laundry was accessible and affordable (NTD$100 to was and dry). Rooms were well-cooled and well-lot. Elevator worked well and warm/cold drinks in the lobby all day! Great parking for mopeds as well. Plentiful toiletries and towels.

The room could have been a *little* cleaner, especially the bathroom, and we had a cornered view of the interior building, so that was a little disappointing. Also, the shower door didn’t close properly, so water was able to leak onto the floor. Minor inconvenience! Overall only enough to knock off one star.

Breakfast is with a Buch of varieties with delicious Taiwanese and western food. It would be perfect if there are boiled eggs or scrambled eggs.

Outside of our window is the balcony of the next door. The guests next door smoked at the balcony. To avoid the smells get into the room we can only close the window all the time!

Good location and friendly staff. They provide DIY noodles, which is fun and delicious. I am here to do business and the hotel provides free shuttle to the station, which is very convenient. They also have free bike rental that I can ride to downtown and the night market.

You can tell the hotel was an apartment from the appearance. However, when I walk into the lobby, these feeling are gone. Instead, I feel relaxed and chilled.
