Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

SingaporeThe hotel is new (I supposed) and the family room we booked was amazing. Our girls love it the moment we entered the room! It's minimalistic design and cozy. The bathroom was spacious enough and there was a lovely standing bathtub too (which we didn't get to use cos our itinerary was packed). We would definitely recommend this place to stay for anyone, especially if you really enjoy Taiwanese local fare. The options along the streets right below the hotel location were legit Taiwanese stalls and eateries. We personally like the food options compare to Taipei Main Station (we stayed there for 2 nights when we first arrived in Taipei).

SingaporeWould be great if we have an option to choose king size bed room
Aesthetically and tastefully renovated hotel, warm lightings that made check in and stay very relaxing, a big contrast from level 1 to level 6 where the reception were located and very different from how the tired building looks from outside. We really like how they made use of the bar in the room, very useful in hanging our wet towels and jackets etc.

AustraliaWe stayed in the windowless room as it fit our budget, but if like a bit more airflow and natural light, it might be a bit uncomfortable. Also, I think the aircon is a shared system between the rooms, so it takes a while to make the room cooler.
Location is excellent as it's right near the MRT entrance and on the same street is the local market with great food options. Staff are super friendly and helpful, thank you! We also loved the decor and design of the room (especially having a sealed floor to ceiling door to the bathroom - rare in Taiwanese hotels for some reason!!!), the daily free snacks, their sustainability practices and their free self-serve laundry services. Will definitely be staying here again and would recommend this hotel to others!!!

SingaporeSmall issue with the lift to get to the hotel, it is very tiny.
The location is excellent. Near to Daqiaotou MRT station. It is also not far away from various attractions in Taipei and pretty easy to make a trip to New Taipei as well.

SingaporeThe hotel is on the 6th floor of a building, so the lift is shared with everyone else. The lift can be slow at times and it is really small. It can fit at most 2 pax + 2 luggages. But this is not a big issue for me and it is not the hotel's fault.
Love the location and the interior of the hotel. It is near the Daqiaotou MRT exit, and also a few minutes walk to Dihua Street which you can explore in the day. At night, the street which is hotel is at will be filled with food carts and restaurants are all open. The interior are exactly like the pictures, room size is definitely considered big. Snack bar are free and replenished everyday. You can also do laundry at the hotel and they provide free laundry pods so you wont have to worry about it! The hotel exceeded all expectations, you can literally chill in the room all day long because it is that comfortable. Lastly, I LOVE the scent in the hotel. It is so pleasant and comforting. I need to know the brand of the scent they are using because I want it at home too ;_;

GermanyWe were there in February and there was no heating, which in itself was not a problem, but the floor got very cold in the evening and at night. We would have liked slippers.
This is one of those rare hotels where the pictures online correspond 1 to 1 with reality. Someone has put so much thought into it, everything was very consistent and worked perfectly. It was probably the best hotel room I've ever stayed in.

Malaysia1. google location is wrong, is opposite haha (inconvenient if you carry luggages around when you dunno) 2. tiny lift to go up and down. it’s actually an office tower, hotel at level 6, fits max 6 pax face to face. plus tourist like me would bring big luggages, not very convenient to be honest esp if you're rushing back to use the toilet 3. laundry (maybe just for me haha) 11am-8pm only coz the hotel is actually within a single floor, one of the rooms facing the laundry area, they wanna avoid making too much noise at night, but harder for us tourist to allocate time to do laundry. they provide laundry pods, have to take from the counter
1. consider vvv new, modern and cozy interior 2. toilet is hugeee, huge mirror, smart toilet seat, rice body, hair shampoo and conditioner is good good also, bath tub good good also 3. more hangers than most of the hotels i stayed before 4. snacks (1 instant noodle, 3 packet snacks (like chocolate cookies and potato chips), 1 mini sprite 1 mini coke replenished each day 5. watsons, 711, family mart walking distance! got food stalls around also but i no time try 6. near to train station! but not so near to the areas i visiting so depends 7. OKU accessible lift and toilet! super spacious and convenient (but alley has a slight up and down hill, so might be hard if OKU going toilet alone) extra note: 1. not 24h counter, i think it’s 9-6pm (altho it doesn’t really affect me much) 2. 2x bottled water

United KingdomI would stay here again! Here are some items that might be useful for other travellers when deciding to book here: - A/C is on a loop with 2 other rooms which meant we could not cool our room Independently unless the other two rooms did the same. We learned this after speaking to Frank (super helpful person on reception) following tries to cool down our room independently. - no breakfast options at the hotel as this hotel only spans one floor. However we knew this when booking and lots of food options nearby - on a busy road but this also means right by the MRT so super convenient
Very clean and modern Free snacks in room Comfortable beds and bedding Free laundry room use Close to lots of food options Right by MRT
