How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Verified reviewVery nice location! There are a lot of restaurants & convenient stores around the hotel. Ximending is a 5 min walk. Access to transportation(bus, mrt) is very good.
Need to constantly call the feint desk for help regarding the tv remote 😞

Verified reviewThe double room can be slightly small to open two luggages, but one luggage is fine.. u may face some space problems to put things.. the table only comes with a chair… if you packed food back, might have to take turn to eat with your partner. Location wise is very good. Near to Ximen mrt..
The room is too small… bump into couples who came just to do love.. thats why their checking in timing is different..

Verified reviewThe bidet on the toilet
The staff are not that accomodating and hospitable. Theres free bread and coffee but they will not replenish right away whole your there and would wait for people to leave the pantry area before they will stock up. Seems like they dont want us to get anything from the “free pantry”. We are a group of 9 people and booked 3 big rooms and they dont seem to be happy to have us there.

Verified reviewThe room is small but clean enough. The staff really friendly. And the location near ximending. Plenty of restaurant there. The hotel gives you free snacks.. and got bread toast everymorning at 6th floor.. you can use the washing machine for only 50NT dan dryer 50NT..
The room is too small if you have so many luggage, you dont have enough space. The bathroom : bathup for standing shower. For senior people is not easily to get into bathup for every shower.. to get into the hotel, you need to step a few stairs and then you can use elevator.. we got 10luggages in total, so i must take it bring manual through the stairs.

Verified reviewI didn’t try the breakfast, but there was great privacy and safety.
The price was high, but it was in the middle of the city so I can’t complain.

Verified reviewThe location was perfect
The way how they promote the hotel and booking is responsible too. They should be more aware that hotels must write in the main presentation the check in check out time. they on the maylin lines of the reservation didn't mentioned the checking time what is from 21:00 to 11:00 only and if you want to checking at 14:00 you must pay a extra fee of 600NTD around 18Usd plus what you already pay for the room . I want to report this kind of policy's as abusive and booking is the direc responsible to let the rest of hotel work like this, is an attempted of hurt guest pockets, because the hotel don't allow you to cancel the reservation.

Verified reviewConvenient to XiMenDing! Room was spacious and clean.
Have to climb about 5 stairs before taking the lift. Lift closes too fast too so if you are slow you might get injured from it.

Verified reviewthe location was a short walk from ximen mrt and it was good as you will walk along the ximending walking street so you can shop and even buy food back for supper etc. it was convenient to put all the things we had bought back at the room as it was so near. free water bottles and pantry with unlimited snacks laundry can also be done at a small cost
hopefully prices can be lower as quite a bit of budget went to our accommodations there is a small flight of stairs to get to the lift from the street so it was a bit tough to bring up the heavy luggage lift is a bit small but it is fine.

Verified reviewVery good location. There were some issues with the toilet but the staff addressed the issue immediately. The complimentary coffee, bread and snacks are good, but they ran out of milk supply. There should be additional pillows as one small pillow per person is not enough. Another turn-off was when a female member of our group asked for help to call a taxi for an early (5:30 am) schedule going to the airport (raining and cold temp), the staff replied to just walk and take the mrt. 🥺
