The hotel is quite far from the main attractions in Wulai. It is further up the mountain, and is a long walk uphill to reach it. Very tiring without a car. The breakfast was also the same both nights we were there - bland rice porridge and some wet vegetables. Not particularly appealing.

The room and facilities were superb. The convenience of breakfast being delivered to your room was great. Check in was very easy and done in just a few minutes. I would love to come here again if it wasn't so expensive.

There was a leaky faucet in the bathroom which did have a bit of an odour. In general the room could use a lick of refurbishment.

We loved the onsen bath and view from the balcony! The staff were very sweet and communicative. Getting to the hotel from Taipei was quite easy. The town and tourist attractions were all within walking distance. Breakfast was traditional - yummy and filling :)

The bathroom is in the room which looks romantic, but even the toilet is there without any door separating it from the rest of the space, which felt a bit weird. Insulation is very poor - you hear every toilet or bathtub flush as if it is happening next to you.

Staff was very friendly, even though they did not speak any english, they were trying to help in any way possible.

It was great to have our own private hot spring soaking bath on the balcony, breakfast is provided, room is big, but overall facilities are not quite as nice as the pictures suggest

Shower not working. Mediocre breakfast served in the room, but no proper table and chairs to eat from. Dangerous electric wiring.

Green valley view and huge hot spring bath, really comfortable bed. Limited staff but friendly reception.

I like most things about it, but particularly like having a private garage, motel-style, for my Tesla.

Loved everything

The room was spacious also the bathroom. The outdoor hot spring tub was fantastic plenty of hot water and large. The view was incredible.

I was fully satisfied with my stay and will be glad to stay there again. The hot spring bath was large, the aircon just right, the view lovely, and the WiFi very fast. I couldn't reasonably have asked for more.

I really love this place, but I wish they had a meal available in the evening, because it's a bit of a ways from any restaurant. Also I don't mind congee but the kind they served for breakfast made me sad because they just used water instead of broth as a base. Good thing I was prepared and doctored mine up with some leftovers. Also good luck getting a taxi there from town in the rain. Would still stay there again.

Really lovely spot. The open-air private hot and cold baths were amazing. Don't worry if it's raining because there's a rain screen that comes down at the touch of a button if you want it. The mountain view paired with the mist is really special at dusk. Feels like you're in the clouds...

Property is old and the fridge buzzing keeps you up at night. You probably won’t choose this place unless you drive.

Staff is amazingly accommodating. They responded fast to fix the issues in the room. Spa in-house is a bonus during cold season. Breakfast is yummy

Only issue was the lighting out on the terrace not working.

Stunning location and good facilites, a few little things not working. The staff were excellent and spoke enough English to get by without difficulty.

The rooms are very cold as you cannot fully close the window, but a heater is provided so it's okay. Breakfast is Chinese which is fine but make sure to communicate when you would like to have breakfast otherwise it will be cold once you wake up as they bring it to your room very early.

The furniture no more so new ;-) But I chose this hotel because of the view, so the furniture wasn't important.

The hot spring was incredible. It was place as an extension to the room but still outside with a great view overlooking the mountains and the landscape.

Facilities need upkeep, shower had no door, room had a lot of mold, bath was not very clean

The building is a bit old so there were signs of aging but nothing that made it a bad room to be in. For those in the future going through public transport, I would highly recommend them getting a taxi from the bus stop if you have a lot of luggage

The view of the room was incredible and the breakfast was amazing! They left the breakfast at the door for us at 8 in the morning and it was delicious! Staff were also SUPER nice and did everything to try and help me out
