The bed was comfortable but the pillows were SO hard. And the towels were only hand-towels.

Friendly staff, fantastic location- right opposite the bus stop. Very quiet. Good aircon and hot water pressure. Great for 1-2 nights and a good price.

Place is run by a family, the host did not speak English, but it was not a problem for them to communicate :) They had written cards to provide information. Super friendly, we dropped our bags before check in and left them there after check out while exploring the area. Super good location, very central street, rental bike shops and restaurants available around, also, 3min from bus station, so perfect if you are on your way to another location in Taiwan. Overall great experience.

There is no elevator if you stay here, you will need to walk up two flights of stairs to get to your room. No towels available just little hand towels. We had a fair few mosquitoes in our room at night. Very thick pillows are difficult to sleep with.

EXTREMLY SMALL TOWELS!!!! Just to wipe your face, that's basics and should be promtly delivered. Paying is just with cash. Very hard and uncomfortable pillow.

The hotel doesn't have much of a view inside, although it's not a big issue since you can just go outside. The soundproofing is average, and you can hear the sounds from other rooms quite clearly in the hallway. The room itself is fairly comfortable, neither exceptional nor disappointing. The facilities are somewhat old, and the air conditioning is a bit noisy, but it's quieter when set to dehumidify mode. However, the staff inside are very friendly and willing to help as much as possible.

The location is very convenient, right next to the bus station. The nearby shops are also close by, and there is a convenience store nearby as well. The pier is not far if you walk down. Although the location is very convenient, it is on the outskirts of that area, so it is relatively quiet and very leisurely.

I didn't experience any problem with the conditioner. There are no mosquito or bees in room as mentioned in previous reviews during my stay. Shower/bathing gel provided. There is no fridge but we don't need to use it here. Clean and comfortable enough for the price in my opinion. Big thanks to the really helpful hotel owners, they helped us to book a taxi to HSR Taichung station in early morning
