Is a nice hotel, I would give it a 10, but there is no staff there to help you would the luggages, staff just sat there watching me go struggle bringing my luggages in, not even asking for help or attempt to help. Also there is a water stain in the ceiling.

There is a weird smell in the lobby and it is not giving, i am guessing something spilled in the carpet and it just needs to be deep cleaned or replaced i guess. Also, the rooms are not sound proof. I can hear the water gas/heater being used from the next room and the vehicles outside, but it gets quite during the late night, so you can still sleep soundly. If you don't mind these then this hotel is pretty decent.

The location is great, it is near the MRT Ximen station Exit 1and it is also right behind The Red House in Ximending. Lots of eatery outside. Daily room cleaning (if you want them to). The staffs are great too!

There are random unnecessary stairs on the floor I stayed in, so even if we took the elevator, we still need to carry our luggages through a small flight of stairs to our room. Due to the accessible location, it was also very noisy (car noises). I also couldn't sleep well because at dawn, there are some weird buzzing noises from above. Might be the pipes but not actually sure what it was. It lasted for a while too.

The location is very convenient. It's located close to Ximending station and the night market. There's a lot of restaurants nearby. The room itself is quite clean despite everything so it was quite decent.

Situated in a great location just steps away from Ximending's shops, restaurants, bars & Ximen Station. The hotel is very basic however, the staffs are super helpful and very accomadating. The only thing is the current construction next door so be mindful if you are a light sleeper, do ask for a room on another side of the building.

It's an old property but has one of the best locations in Ximending area. Room is basic but clean and comfortable.

Presentation of the hotel could be better. Shower/bathroom just normal. It was bit hard to find the entrance (maybe just for me)

The elevator is small and feels very crowded with 2 people and 2 suitcases. I live on the 2nd floor, there are few steps of a stairway from the elevator to my room, the hotel built a slide pathway, need to pull suitcases up and down. I would also like to suggest the hotel to put a weight scale for baggage in the lobby, as you know, Taipei or just even Ximending is a great place for shopping.

Excellent location, walk to The Red House is just 2 minutes, and Ximending food street or Uniqlo is just 5 minutes. Spacious room and quiet place, liner and bed are comfortable, air condition can be adjusted in the room, beds and floor cleanliness level is above expectation, shower hot water and cold water is working well, all staffs are kind with a smile and helpful. They accept baggage storage before check-in and even after check-out.

-The bathroom hairdryer was a bit janky (it would work for a few seconds and wouldn't after some time then it wouldn't turn on) -There's a bit of moisture in a certain part of the CR but if you aren't picky like us, it was totally fine There's not much things that I didn't like because it was such a pleasant experienceqq

The staff was really nice! Especially the one I get to talk to here on booking.com! They would always greet us when we pass by the lobby. They were also very accommodating whenever we requested something (flat iron, they even gave us the ironing board, we also borrowed scissors and a weighting scale) and would just tell us to leave them outside! The place was nice, and they would ask if you'd like your room to be cleaned! (Plus points for that) The room was nice and perfect for me and my partner, and it was quite spacious, so we had our luggage open, and there's still some space to go around. There weren't any bed bugs, and the air conditioning was awesome. There's cabinet and a bunch of drawers! They give free water and tissue for us to use (plus the hotel toiletries). The towels were clean! We had a face towel and a body towel. The area of the hotel is so accessible to everything. There's a 7-11 and family mart nearby, a bunch of local restaurants can be found across the hotel, and it's a few minute walk to the mrt (Ximen station) and to a bunch of famous tourist destinations (XIMEN NIGHT MARKET, RED HOUSE ETC.) 100/10 would recommend and would definitely come back!

Location is ideal for shopping and dining. Walking distance to train stations and bus stations from the airport to Ximending area.

Hotel is on the older side, but alright. And not as expensive as those which are nearer/in Ximending - so good budget consideration. Didn't like the pillows though - too soft.

Did a last minute booking as had to change itinerary last minute due to my kids. Hotel staff was very friendly throughout the whole process. Hotel is about 5-10min walk away from Ximending, which is quite good.

The room I was assigned is facing the main road and is too noisy, especially during the weekend. The party goers are talking very loudly at the main road.

Perfect location, right next to the shopping area and night market. Very friendly and helpful staff. Old style hotel, but everything anyway works well.

Add-on bed was somehow infected with bugs. Hotel staff immediately changed the bed and our bedsheets. They also disfect our room daily afterwards. Unhappy with bites but impressed with quick response from hotel staff. Great support.

Location is great. Near noisy Ximending yet quiet with cheap food readily available just next door. 24x7 laundry service just 10 minutes walk away. Hotel staff are all very warm n helpful,we feel at home chatting with her during the day or him during the nite with 24 x7 counter service.
