Reviews of Qingjing Baiyun Resort

The view was fantastic. The hotel arrangement is such that the rooms are within the large bungalows and there are a handful of them in the entire compound. Breakfast was homely and had a spread of local fare. Couple of domestic(?) cats within the compound too.

If you're travelling with elderly/people who can't move very well, it's good to note that there are no lifts and only stairs to navigate around. The hotel's check-in area is on lower ground compared to the rooms too. Thus, I would suggest getting a guide/a local to drive you around the area such that they can help you with the roads. We ended up parking near the bungalows first (higher ground), before heading down to the check-in area and only moving our luggage after obtaining the keys. There was a balcony within my room however, there are way too many insects at night, hence I didn't venture out. Like many places in Taiwan, the bathrooms here are not capable of flushing toilet paper so do take note. Overall, manage your expectations accordingly considering the environment.

The location was great, not far from the bus stop.

The breakfast was catered to local Taiwanese. We wished they could provide more Western food, such as croissant, boiled eggs… The hotel is located on a hill. In order to reach to the front door, you can either take the stairs which is very tiresome if you have the luggage to drag; or, take the paved way from the parking lot. Unfortunately, the paved way ends about 12 feet from the front door. You still need to lug your luggage through a gravel area before reaching the front door. For the convenience of pulling the luggage, the owner might want to consider paving the gravel area. The travelers would appreciate very much especially for a female traveler like me.

The nice view in front of the garden. The staffs are helpful. The breakfast is abundant. The bed is comfortable. It's easy to reach the Swiss Garden the Qingjing Farm and nearby there are places for souvenir shopping and food. Bus stops to Puli or Farm is just 5 mins walk .

The property is clean and comfortable. But no lift. We had a hard time bringing our luggage up the long stairs.

No lift and no assistance with luggage. Not suitable for people whose knees has done discomfort.

View was great, staff very helpful, breakfast was nice. I'm really grateful for the indonesian lady who helped us so much during our stay! She was always so cheerful and bubbly.

It is stated in the listing, but the stairs and steep slopes were pretty tough on the elderly. The staff were marvelous about it though, they were very generous with their help.

The location is great and featuring a garden to sit, relax, and enjoy stunning mountain view. The rooms are big and comfortable. If the weather is good, the place is perfect to enjoy mountain views.

Some of the family rooms can't enjoy garden view from their balcony.

The lady in charge was super friendly to us, goes above and beyond helping us to book cars to recommending things to eat or go in the vicinity. the view on the balcony was immaculate

The bathroom is a bit outdated, the dressing tables leg rest area is too narrow and should consider a more modern dresser. no toilet/shower upstairs so was a bit inconvenient

Very good location, 5 to 10 mins walks to reach bus stop, nearby 7-11 store, Starbucks, Mos Burger, Cingjing Small Swiss Garden. We had a wonderful stay. Great mountain view from room balcony. Room was spacious & clean and served very good breakfast. Very warm and hospitable staffs.
