I was quite disappointed with the service I received from one of the male staff members (Filipino, I believe). The day before, an Indonesian staff member kindly mentioned that she would ask the boss if it was possible to send me to the bus stop. The next day, it was raining, so I followed up with the male staff to see if he could help or contact the boss. However, he said he didn’t have the boss’s number. I asked if he could help me get a taxi, but he simply said he didn’t know. When I asked again if he could try to contact the boss, he replied, “Don’t ask me,” in a very dismissive way. I ended up walking to the bus stop in the rain with my backpack, which was really frustrating. As a guest, I expected at least some effort or care in trying to help. I hope the management can look into this and train staff to be more helpful and considerate, especially during difficult situations like bad weather.

It is a GOOD CHOISE to choose this hotel,We like the view from the front of the hotel we can see directly mountains view,we stayed in the 2nd floor,have balcony,when we open the door window we see so good view of mountains,we are come here in the middle of February,the sakura not yet fully bloom,need to bring thick jacket because in the night is getting cold..but 1 good things is,they have a bed heater so we can rest better,i set the heater on number 4,thats hot🤣and then i changed to the lowest level.. The foods was so delicious,and big portions,i order the 1 whole chicken for both of us and we cannot finish it🤣🤣and it can bring out the left foods.. The breakfast was so many choises and delicious,i see the kitchen team,some of them is Indonesian,they are very friendly,and they cook Indonesian noodles for breakfast..it is so tasty,but a bit spicy,if you cannot eat spicy,better to get little and try first.. And if we book the hotel and eat on their restaurant,they give us a discount !! No regret to book this HOTEL !!!

The drive up to the hotel is quite steep!! It’s not a long road, just the last bit. Our car didn’t have enough horse power to make it up the hill when oncoming traffic approached - be aware :)

The view was amazing, as is the food in the restaurant. The room is beautiful as well as comfortable. We had the best stay!

There is no lift / elevator. If you stay in the top floors, you may have to carry your luggage up and down. Staff may be a bit busy taking care of the Yunnan restaurant and check-in of homestay guest at the same time. May not be within walking distance to the famous tourist spot in Qing Jing and hard to get taxi after the evening.

Breakfast was simple but adequate. Staff offered to carry luggage to room as there's no lift. Nice view and clean room. Spacious and beautifully decorated.

Irregular shape and steps in treehouse not easy to navigate. Varnished floors can be slippery so do not wear socks inside.

It is not very clear that you were supposed to pay cash so when we arrived after a long journey we were told that we had to find an ATM first. Voices from terrace below can wake you up at 5.30 in the morning. Many insects in the room which was not very clean.

Booked 2 rooms. Both rooms are clean, comfortable & have bed warmers on the bed! There were good views outside the room too. Most importantly, the restaurant beside it makes good food and provides good services! Will definitely recommend and will book again. Bad side? Nothing much, just the hot water dispenser is on second floor because we were staying on the first floor. All in all, is good! Do give it a try :)

5min walk from the gate to the hotel is very steep. Facilities are somewhat old too but expected since it's a "homestay" on a mountain. No aircon, electric mattress was very hot.

High CP value! Room was very spacious with large toilet, fridge, various amenities and balcony(with nice view). Location is also 5 mins away from bus-stop (contact hotel for bus-stop name) with buses to and from taichung/puli and cingjing. Breakfast with good variety was provided too!
