The shower drain had a bad smell that carried into the whole room making it smell like a sewer. The staff tried to help by air freshening the air but it needs more attention. Also other people in the room were using the bathroom at 2am coughing and spitting in the sink which isn't the hostels problem but I think if you want a good night's rest you might want a room without the bathroom inside it.

Great location. Loved that our room had a bathroom in it. Staff very helpful with leaving our bags there after check out.

Photos are different to what it was actually like. Photos need updating. The bed was uncomfortable, springs in your back! No towels included, light on the bed didn't work and yes we tried using our key card. Check-in was very late and even though we asked prior about dropping bags off we still couldn't drop them until staffed hours.

The room is smaller than I expected. The hall is quite hot.

The bed is comfy, it fits me (I am 165 cm), but I think anyone higher than me won't fit. Bathroom nice and clean. Staffs are nice.

My main issue was that one of the guests pooed on the floor in the bathroom and when I unfortunately discovered it, and went to the reception to report it, the hostel staff told me they already knew and were going to do something about it. Unfortunately, this was not acceptable as this is something that should have been dealt with immediately, and at least have a sign on the door to avoid this bathroom. The next day there was a sign on the door saying; “Please Demonstrate public morality, you have been defecating on the floor for two days in a row.... And guest have already reported us which bed's guest, so if it happens again, we will not accept you anymore !!” Obviously this incident was not the hostels fault, however, I don’t think this is the kind of behaviour that should be acceptable at a hostel and they should have kicked the guest out instantly if they knew who it was!! In future I hope they learn from this incident and deal with it differently so other guests do not have a similar experience.

Sometimes other peoples' smells and snoring were annoying. The bathroom in the room cannot be used after 11pm, so you have to used the main shared one.

Comfy beds and privacy curtains, also lockers. Huge common area (lounge) downstairs that gets overlooked.

Space is a little tight. Especially if you have large luggage. No common place provided for unpacking purposes. However they do provide lockers which can fit in average size luggage.

I was a bit disappointed, the room and bed was not super comfy and the toilets were not very clean and not really comfortable for a shower. The mattress is not really comfortable in the shared dorm.

I chose double bed (female only) type. There's no enough space for big luggages on sharing area (locker area). Plus, the sound from locker area still could be heard clearly.. it's kinda uncomfortable, but good enough for me.

The location is really good! It's near center of city. There are a lot of convinience stores and restaurants nearby.

The location is very strategic where the Ximenting Street is just 8mins walking distance. The bed is cozy and clean. The customer service admin were willing to help and answer my doubts patiently.

Big hostal, I guess I wasn’t too lucky because there were loud people during my stay. But else, it was nice.

It was not very clean. Beside my bed had lots of hair ( dark and mine is silver) and dust and some paper. I showed the reception lady and she shrugged and said the cleaners were men... what could you expect?! There are also SO MANY signs to read and abide by.

They were helpful in giving me a bottom bunk due to an injury.
