The room is a bit small and the bathroom design is somewhat inconvenient, but overall everything was fine.

The homestay is in an extremely convenient location for getting around and exploring New Taipei City. It offers fairly complete shared amenities, with a clean and tidy space. The host is pleasant and provided a lot of support before the trip. There were no issues with soundproofing, possibly because we visited during the low season.

I booked Man man house Ruifang because it is located near Ruifang station.Man man house Ruifang is about 5 minutes walk from Ruifang station,so it is very convenient for visitors who use TR trains.The staff sent a LINE ID automatically when I booked Man man house Ruifang,so it is convenient to contact him.I stayed Man man house Ruifang for 2 days to visit Jiufeng.The room I stayed was very clean,so I was satisfied.

Staff were bare minimum courteous. Not rude, but not engaged. Felt a little shuffled through, but we were only staying for one night. Room didn't have windows, but we knew that. Walls were a bit thin.

The only thing was the motel did not have elevator and has to walk up and down narrow flight of stairs when we have luggages, to separate the items into small bags to carry down one at a time.

My family and I liked the room set up, with the platform beds and toilet in the middle with a door access. Room was comfortable during our stay.

Right off the bat, the staff greeted us with much enthusiasm and even gave us recommendations on how to visit attractions and helped us with navigation! (They even provided us with a map!) The room is both comfortable and clean, the utilities provided such as the towels and soap are also very adequate, but what we loved most is the television channel! The TV they provided us has many different channels installed, so we could spend our night watching local shows before bedtime, and it was an amazing experience. The location of the area was also very convenient, a 5minute walk away from the train station with many convenient stores and food places around. Overall, we are very satisfied with our stay at ManMan House! Highly Recommended for anyone looking to explore areas around RuiFang!

You cannot pay by credit card. Not a problem, but I was a bit surprised.

Everything perfect for a budget minded traveller: location just minutes away from the train station, but very quiet in my room with no window. Sparsely and tastefully decorated but really everything you need. I loved the low, futon style bed.. Fast Wifi, everything sparkling clean and I could even check in early. You can use the washing machine for 50 NTD. I already booked my next stay.

Close to railway station and old street. OK mart very close. Room looked be recently done up, very clean. Small kitchen area was handy with fridge and water machine. Laundry facilities were good. Host spoke good English.

The payment is only in NT$, no credit card payment. (I did not know about it, and I had to go the convenience store’s ATM to get the money out). I wish, Credit Card payment will be available in time.

The owner was great. My arrival to the hotel was late 22:45, and he kindly waited for our arrival and helped us to carry in our luggage to the 2nd floor (there is no lift). He spoke fluent English, and was easy to communicate. Only 5-7 minutes walk to Ruifang station and parking area, and convenience store in between. Very well cleaned room, good shower, clean bed, and good price! I can highly recommend.

There is no sidewalk to walk safely to the house from train station and one must be careful of the cars and motorcycles driving by. Also there is no elevator but Joe helped us with our luggage.

The host speaks English and is very helpful and pleasant to talk to. The place is very clean and facilities are functioning well. Strong wifi, nice hot shower, and drinking water dispenser, microwave, and big fridge in the common area. It's in the old town of Ruifang, about 8 mins walk to the train station where you have to get down the stairs to reach the new town of Ruifang. Here you can find the bus stops, Ruifang food court, convenience store, bubble tea shops, etc. Jiufen old street is 20 mins by bus from here for 15NTD. We took the train to Shifen. We came during the Pingxi Lantern Festival and the cost of accommodation is expensive at this time. I highly recommend this place to stay for those who wants to go to Shifen, Jiufen, and even Yehlui Geopark on their own.

The drying machine could not fully dry the clothing, so we had to travel to a nearby laundrette to dry our washed clothes. Provide disposable slippers instead of rubber ones. There were not enough power plugs in the room.

The location was quite a walking distance to RuiFang station. Walking distance to many eating places. We were able to keep our pieces of luggage at the counter after check out. The manager was friendly and helpful in sharing visiting tips.

There is no elevator so we have to carry our luggage to 3rd floor. It was loud in the evening until 9 - 10pm because our room is close to the road.

Toilet amenities are provided, there's water dispenser, microwave and fridge to use in common area as well as toilet sprayer.

The room was a bit suffocating as the window is facing the wall of the building next door. The 2-double room would be nicer but we didn't know.
