Cute Hostel near the train station. Lovely lady running the place. It was low season so I had the four people bedroom for myself. Laundry machine is free to use (byo detergent or buy some)

It was really nice hostel ! Close to bus station and railway station, just 2 min walk. Clean, nice host, comfortable kitchen down, hot and clean shower , really comfortable location to do 1 day trips to attractions around :) and also night market near by. Definitely, recommend!

Beds had a little gap so if someone was using a bedlight it would be quite bright for others.

For me it was nice and close to Jiufen, Shifen and some hiking opportunities. Out of the city of Taipei. Beds were nice. Host was very kind.

The sound quality of the lobby music could be improved, but that’s me being nit-picky.

I liked the cleanliness of this hostel as well as the design of the common area. The location is convenient with the train and bus station being close by. You can share a cup of free tea with the other guests.

I really enjoyed my stay in this hostel, and it was one of my favorites in Taiwan. Though the hostel is not really social (according to European standards), I still had a good time and the owner was very friendly, despite the language barrier. The location was also good, a few minutes away from the train station and bus stops, allowing you to easily explore the area, from Jiufen to Pingxi. The hostel and facilities were also clean and comfortable.

All rooms including privates were bunk beds and a little expensive. Bathrooms are shared but we're very clean.

Good kitchen area, very clean and friendly staff. Located next to the train station. Also had a Japanese toilet downstairs and in the ladies.

Everything. This hostel was amazing. First thing. Was super clean always. Second the location was 100 meters from the station and you have some restaurants around there. And the last point, the people who work there are amazing, kindly and always ready for help you and give you tips about the area.

Well…. It is a cheap hostel, therefore everything was ‘cheap’: small room, the windows (available in the picture) is not a real windows (it does not go outside). Anyway, for a one-day stop was ok, and we found the owner very nice.

Very friendly owner. Strategic location, closed to the railway station: we stayed there in order to visit Juifen and Shifen.

It was pouring with rain but I was welcomed straight inside though I was wet and dripping. "Bring your bicycle inside", the hostel manager said, handing me a small towel. It seemed nothing was too much trouble, there was a friendly atmosphere, a comfortable bed, and that night all at the hostel enjoyed a marvellous free concert from a travelling Japanese ukulele player and peace activist. Happy memories of my stay.

The housekeeper was really nice to wave off our booking charges for the first night as we had to cancel travel plans due to the severe typhoon warning issued by the government. Really appreciates it! I had a good sleep in my room. Clean and Comfortable.
