The room is small. Although it is adequate for the three of us (my husband and kid); it may be a bit too small. The room size may be better for couples or singles. What I don't like is that they don't clean the room every day. We have to message them if we want housekeeping. The housekeeping only does a minimum cleaning (just clean the floor and the toilet and that's it).

The rooms inn has a great location. Very close to many attractions and good restaurants. It was value for money as well, considering the location. The water pressure and temperature in the shower is very good. The bed is comfortable and the room temperature is perfect (not too cold or too warm).

Well, when I tell you the rooms have thin walls, the rooms really have thin walls. We could hear our neighbouring room's voices. I am just not sure if they have other rooms with a thicker walls though. If you are a light sleeper, you should consider this. And if you plan on doing some "private moment" with your partner, you "really" need to keep it down because it can also be heard in the hotel's lobby/waiting area. I also had difficulty finding the entrance as there was no English sign. Had to keep in touch with the management regarding this, plus side is, he was quick to reply. They might put a little sign in the future.

I am not really a picky person, so here is my opinion about the accommodation. The location is a (more or less) 10-15 minute walk to Shadao Temple station and Zhongshan station. It is also near Taipei Main Station - around 20-24 minute walk. It was very convenient for us. The bed is actually really comfortable, soft and warm. The shower has good water pressure with a functional heater. Clean towels, toothbrushes, a small toothpaste and body wash and shampoo are provided (we had the lemon scent). The locks are very convenient as it is code security, therefore, we don't need to bring any keycards. Mr. James was very accommodating and so helpful with our concerns and needs. We appreciate it so much. I can say, I could stay here again if we visit Taiwan in the future.

• Staff’s presence - not that I want them around all the time, but it’s kind of weird seeing the front desk vacant the whole time. I only met the staff during my check-in and the night before I left. • Soundproofing - I thought people were overreacting when I read their comments about hearing the conversation of the guests in the next room! but when I experienced it myself, I was like “Oh so this is what they’re talking about”.

• Location - it’s few meters away from metro stations and it there are numerous restaurants and convenient stores nearby. The area is still “alive” even around midnight. • The room’s size is quite okay if you’re a solo traveler — due to that, the AC can make it really cold easily • The bathroom’s shower heater really gets its job done. The rooms are so small. The description of the rooms were totally different from what it actually appears. We asked to make up the room but it was so disappointing that they only removed the garbage but did not bother to arrange even the bed.

Room was extremely small with little soundproofing so disturbed by the guests next door. Strange and unpleasant smell in the lobby area for the duration of my stay. The inside of the bathroom door was dirty as was the shower taps.
