- the room and the bathroom felt a bit cramped - we couldn't use the common area at night because it was taken over by a large noisy group - the curtain around the bed doesn't shut out all light so I was glad to have an eye mask - you need to keep your key card on you at all times, even when you go to the bathroom at night, or you will be locked out of your room. Since it's on a lanyard, I slept with it around my neck and I'm glad I did.

Very convinience location. I was staying alone in a dormitory, so it was like having private room with many beds 😄 Everything seemed good. Would stay again.

A very nice hostel with a beautiful interior. The room was a bit small, but it was enough. The bed was clean and also very comfortable. Bathroom and common room were very well maintained and clean. The hostel is centrally located and close to the train station. I had a very nice stay The staff is very nice, speaks English and gives information about the city.

This hostel meets my hostel expectations though it did not exceed it. It is about a 10-15 minute walk from the station (though you could cut through the park at the rear end of the station to save half the time -- figured this out too late). The pillow I had was way too high for my neck to sleep comfortably, the rooms were a bit tight for four people and felt stuffy/hot even with air conditioning, and the lockers are quite noisy. The keys don't insert well and has a clankiness while opening and closing. Despite this, the experience was good but perhaps these little changes could make it even more pleasant.

The public resting areas downstairs has games, books, a tv, and instruments (guitar and ukulele). The elevator is also a nice touch after a long day. You could also purchase/rent towels, earplugs for a reasonable price.

The communal area with the couch could maybe have more seats so it is more of a social area. But there is another bit to socialise at the big table anyway

The location is quite far away from the train station. Need to drag so long luggage to the hostel.

The room is for 4 people. But so happen 2 people staying so I had most of the privacy. And the female toilet is just at the same floor.

Since it was my first time in Yilan, i get lost finding the hotel cause i didnt know there are two entrance/exit.

I didn't realize that there was no reception from 9pm to 10am. I'm always nervous that I'm going to get locked out.

My private room was great. The key card wouldn't work and when they couldn't fix it, they gave me a physical key. No biggie

The staff is nice, place is clean and the common area downstairs is awesome. Well decorated, has a guitar, games, a good seating area and a nice kitchen. There was even a nice place to store out bikes in side.
