Loved this hostel! I thought I was over staying in hostels since I’m in my 30’s but this one changed my mind again. The kitchen was fully equipped, very comfy beds, privacy curtains, shared bathroom facilities were never cramped and clean (women only bathroom). WiFi was great 👍

no aircon, very humid and hot in the weather. The whole room had a very strong fake banana smell that took getting used to everytime I entered.

Everything seemed well maintained, clean and quality. friendly staff and grest location.

My biggest problem were the showers. Them being right next to urinals made me feel a bit uncomfortable. I was also missing some shelve or something like that where I could put my clothes. There were 2 hooks per shower outside and also something inside the shower, but the hooks were not really enough and having it inside doesn't make sense since it could easily get wet. During my stay, in one of both showers the bracket for the shower head broke. Of course the shower was still usable, but that wasn't really convenient either.

The employees were very nice and I liked the location. Station not too far away and lots of nice restaurants and cafes nearby. It was also nice to hang out in the common space. Laundry machine and dryer were very convenient.

Location is great. 15-20mins walk from main train station. Reception was very friendly. Has a list of places to eat. Very clean. Had Japanese vibes.

The dorm room was not clean, but after I spoke to the staff they immediately cleaned it. So it was just only a problem on the first day.

Location is great. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I liked the communal areas, very comfortable and clean. Enough showers and bathrooms, also very clean. Laundromat available. Hot and cold drinking water dispenser. Umbrellas to borrow. Hair blow dryer in the bathroom.

Unfortunately in mixed dormitory some keys can open up different lockers, so it’s not safe however staff gave me another locker on the first floor, problem was solved but it wasn’t convenient

The common areas, bedroom and bunk bed were neat and tidy, the staff was friendly, kitchen stuff was good and sufficient, free water refill and tea, powerful WiFi, in a walking distance from the main train station, the neighbour was quiet that night when I arrived.

I didn't like that the lights seemed to be switched on and off by the hostel. There was one night the lights were not fully switched off and this impacted on my sleep. For the two consecutive nights of my stay, some of my hostel roommates seem to be moving in and out of the room at between 1-3am to take a shower and whatever. I didn't like that. Wifi signal was unstable and quite weak. I had to change around different wifi time after time. It was better in the common room at the ground floor/1st floor. Sometimes the staff isn't around.

Good location, not too far from the Taipei main station and metro station. Bed was cosy, clean and comfortable, with curtain, light and power sockets including usb outlets. My room came with a small table with mirror if I want to do my makeup or whatever. Lockers were included in the room. Bathroom was clean too and not too occupied most of the time. There were hairdryers. Shower stalls came with shampoo and body wash liquid. Common room allowed one to store food in the fridge, cook and refill water. Hostel seems to be maintained and managed by Japanese.

The wifi is not great. The speed in the room was around 0.2 Mbps. The wifi in the common are was better though. The reception is not 24h. Towels are available for rent.

Bed are great, with privacy curtain. The common area is comfortable and good to meet other travelers. It has a small kitchen too. The staff are Japanese-level kind and attentive.

Biggest things was that the toilets didn't work all that properly, as in the advice was to throw the toilet paper in the bin... No air conditioning in what it would be the "living room" during warm days. If your bed was further in, the rooms air-conditioning would not reach the bed. Paper slippers cost extra. Small things just added annoyance.

Room decoration was fine, they also had hangers if you washed your clothes in the shower or something. It was easy to add extra days.

Little dusty the rooms and the curtains, should be cleaned with much effort.

Very welcoming and helpful ladies at reception. Big enough rooms and comfortable beds with A/C. The space for the showers/toilets works very well. Good location, close to MRT stations of red, blue and green lines and a 10-15 min walking to main bus/train stations.

The ventilation system needs to improve in the room.

The location is very good, it is 15 minutes walk to the main station and also 10 minutes walk to the metro Zhongshan. And some tourist areas are also closed enough to walk. The facility is also good for a hostel.

Location excellent. I stayed in the single room, nice and comfy size, the linen super clean, bed great, bathroom good size. The room definitely needs a new fresh coat of paint. The young lady at the front desk was super kind and helpful.
